id like to know more about goth, sport, and gort please

Killian and Reagan!! they’re two of my absolute favorite IVANLAND characters and i’m currently writing a very self-indulgent novel (Most Beloved) about them. idk if i’ll ever release it but i will certainly make it available to read in like 40 years when i finish it

they were made as a pair in 2022, and Killian was originally a sub-sona of mine. of course, he grew into his own person over time (i mean. i’m also a completely different person now anyway), and eventually he became this angsty half-demon with a deliciously broody personality. Reagan is his longtime best friend, a short-tempered baseball player who contrasts Killian very nicely.

though i’m not a very spiritual person, and pre-determined fate is not a canonical part of IVANLAND lore, i think i’d call them soulmates. they would find each other and love each other in every reality, blah blah blah. this applies both in a platonic and romantic way, though their dynamic and love for each other is built on a solid platonic foundation. they become romantically entangled eventually, but it’s all deep friendship and yearning and connection before that.

Killian fell for Reagan first, realizing his feelings in middle school. he’s a trans gay man and has known about his queerness since he was young, having transitioned in elementary school. he assumed that his feelings were unrequited, and kept it to himself for an embarrassingly long time. Reagan on the other hand, has returned Killian’s feelings for ages, but didn’t realize it until late high school. even then, he refused to confront his queerness until they were both adults. Most Beloved is a dual pov between them, and explores their relationship and how it evolves through adversity and major life changes.

in my post about their ship name, i played around with different ways of naming ships, one of which being the more modern tradition of using the motifs of the characters being shipped. i’ve only really seen this in younger fandoms, and honestly i think it’s silly. i’m not in any fandoms that really do this though so i don’t care. since Killian is part of the goth subculture and Reagan is an athlete, a potential ship name for them could be ‘gothsport,’ i was much nicer about this in my original post but to be honest… this ship name is ass and i hate it. it’s so fucking stupid. they just aren’t simple enough characters to pick any one motif for them.

i won’t divulge into my distaste for certain fandoms, particularly ones with very uncreative and honestly shitty canon material, but let it be known that ‘killgan’ is the canonical ship name for Killian and Reagan. if anyone unironically uses ‘gothsport’ for them i will start to ingest my own eyelashes. ‘gort’ is funny as hell though so i’ll allow it

another version of their ship name could be ‘killrea’ (pronounced kill-ray), which i think is kinda cute. it doesn’t have the same ring to it as ‘killgan’ though… 😢

what is killian and reagan’s ship name

according to proper fandom rules, their ship name should be ‘keagan.’ however, that is the name of one of my exes. so let’s not do that

in recent times, i’ve seen some ship names created by mashing the character’s common motifs together. they are both very complex characters with various themes and motifs, but let’s simplify killian down to goth and reagan down to… uh… sport? i guess? with this method we get something like ‘gothsport’ or some shit. maybe gort.

i think a ship name that i actually like for them is ‘killgan.’ it’s a name mash instead of a traditional ship name, and it kind of sounds like “kill again,” but i think it’s charming and the best option i can think of. if anyone has any better ideas you can @ me i have nothing better to do

IT MUST BE SAID: this is my own personal headworld’s version of the Afterlife Realm. this doesn’t align with my personal beliefs or any particular religion!! while i did steal some names and ideas from Judeo-Christian beliefs about the afterlife, this take on it is not heavily influenced by the Torah or Bible and is mostly just. my silly little ideas. yeah

Ouija’s domain! i’m working in a huge master doc for all the Afterlife Realm lore right now, so that should be out very shortly. when i’m finished, i’ll probably rb this post with the completed document. :3
