The daughter of a taxidermist always attracted unwanted attention in the group of kids at school. With long black hair, pale skin, green eyes, a non-existent smile, and a voice that was barely heard by the teachers, many would make fun of Elaine, asking her if she was a member of The Addams Family, but she never paid attention to them. They were insignificant in her eyes, and everyone would end up in the same place she would in a couple of years, six feet under. Raised by her parents, Elaine has always been surrounded by death in the form of the many animals that adorned the walls of her home. Her father thought the process would scare the child and often mocked her and her twin brother, but she had always been protective of him, so she learned how to take their father’s joke with a hard stare, especially when he called them both horrible names and told them how weak they were. She would only stare at him, with a dark look on her face until he couldn’t take it anymore, and the stare would end with a slap, going to her poor mother’s arms for comfort once he decided a drink was in order.
A bright girl, she grew up knowing that a taxidermist’s job not always made enough money to buy food or pay the bills. Her father was always worried about the money and began to make dealing with strange people that Elaine saw come and go as they please from their home. That’s why it came to her as a shock when one day, after coming home early from high school, she saw him packing bags of what at first looked like flour, but she had seen the same small packages in her class mates’ hands. Maybe she was a girl but that didn’t mean she was stupid and rather than telling her to go to her room, her father pulled her in and told her what was going on. Their mother was sick and the only way to pay for her treatment was to do something that not many people would dare to do. When he suggested her twin to help them, Elaine refused and promised him that she would work hard and do whatever he wanted but not to drag him into this mess and for once in his life, her father agreed.
The twins were close and even when Elaine did not want her brother to take part in what was going on, he did it on his own accord to help the family and to share the burden with his sister, who saw day by day of their father’s greed grow bigger and bigger until he did the worst thing you can do, steal from the man you’re working for. Elaine discovered it, of course, and she was the one to tell the man what her father had been doing and the day of the twin’s birthday, their father died with them present to watch it all unfold. They were given a choice, to take what money they had left and never speak of what happened, or to continue working for them. It was an easy choice and one that provided their mother with a few more years before she left the world. Elaine committed herself to be loyal and love this new family that had given her and her brother so much, finally revealing themselves as the Ivory Serpents.

The night Elaine’s father died, she was the one to pull the trigger. The Ivory Serpents took him to a warehouse and dragged him to his children’s feet. She can’t remember who put the gun in her hand, but it was all it took for her to send him to hell with two shots to the chest and one in the head. It was sloppy, but her first time using a gun was not meant to be a perfect one, still, she learned and has become better ever since, never hesitating when a job goes wrong and decides to deal with the idiots herself. Elaine is not afraid to get her hands dirty.

☓ Elijah Mackel — Elaine was married to him for six years until she got the Vice-presidency of the Ivory Serpents. He got jealous, cheated on her with a stripper and she ended the marriage as soon as she was able to. Hates him with all her heart and things are not pretty when both find each other. She got hurt really bad for him to betray her like that but one thing Elaine never does is to give second chances.
☓ Tristian Martell — Elaine and her twin are inseparable since birth, even if they don’t know who was born first, they have a deep connection and always take care of each other thanks to their rough childhood. They know everything about each other, the good and the bad and even their deepest secrets.
