Mobile Legends Kini Akan Memeriahkan Turnamen Indonesia Virtual Pro League!

IVPL adalah sebuah Turnamen Pro Liga yang mempertandingkan game seperti AOV dan Fifa 19 pada tahun lalu. Dilansir dari Liputan6.com, Indonesia Virtual Pro League akan membuka registrasi IVPL pada tahun 2020 ini dan menghadirkan Mobile Legends secara online maupun offline. Hadiah yang ditawarkan tidak tanggung-tanggung sebesar Rp. 150.000.000 (seratus lima puluh juta rupiah). Turnamen ini akan diadakan pada lima kota yaitu : Bekasi, Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta dan finalnya nanti di Semarang. Turnamen ini akan dilakukan secara bertahap dan dimulai dari kota bekasi pada tanggal 23 Februari 2020, lalu masuk ke kota kedua yaitu Jakarta pada tanggal 1 Maret 2020, lalu masuk lagi di Yogyakarta pada tanggal 8 Maret 2020, lalu kota keempat di Surabaya pada tanggal 15 Maret 2020, dan terakhir yaitu di Semarang pada tanggal 22 Maret 2020 dan finalnya pada tanggal 19 April 2020 di kota semarang.

Untuk Kualifikasi offline akan berlansung pada 5 kota tersebut. Bagi kalian yang berada diluar kota atau provinsi kalian masih bisa ikut kok, dengan cara melakukan pendaftaran secara online pada tanggal 4 April 2020. Dari setiap kota nantinya akan dipilih 3 team yang terbaik untuk masuk ke fase playoff dan nantinya bakal berkompetisi dengan 16 tim lainnya yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 April 2020 secara online. On Aug. 28th, 2014, Fowler's Director, Lia Post, and four of our resident artists were excited to receive a group of artists and arts professionals from Israel. The visit was organized by the U.S. Department of State as a part of their International Visitor Leadership Program entitled Community Arts in America.

The five participants from Israel were in the U.S. to investigate how art has served as a bridge between people of diverse backgrounds and to examine how visual and performance arts in U.S. cities have stimulated community development. We spoke about the practicalities of managing a collective in NYC, the role of collectives in the greater community, ways of engaging with diverse populations of both artists and audiences, and how working within a collective can benefit and/or affect one's art practice.

After we chatted in Fowler and visited the artist studios, we toured 67 West and found a great light set-up being installed for a film shoot later in the day. So we, of course, had to make use of the light and take a group portrait (one: straight-forward, the other: a bit silly!).

It was a pleasure to hear about the arts in Israel and made us all want to arrange a visit there! The visitors were: Alon Alsheich (filmmaker), Yael Hamo Amit (Ashdod Art Museum), Oded Bajayo (youtube.com/user/tvtelaviv), Galia Kedar (wadiara.org.il), and Ruba Salameh (artist). The Dept. of State interpreter was Photographer Ashi Fachler (flickr.com/ashi). The Fowler artists who were present for the visit were Elana Adler, Stephanie Beck, Chris Cole, and Valentina Scambia.

my local library has had its funding from the school district basically removed.

I'm really worried, and even though I signed a petition about saving the library's hours, I feel like I could do more. :/

my local public library is getting more of its funding cut off.

This is so depressing. Libraries are really important, and to see the IVPL's funding diminish is so unfortunate and messed up.

What type of country do we live in where we can be in two wars at once, and we can't fund a public library? Education is so crucial to a democracy.
