They balance each other out so well. Despite all his charm and skills in suduction he’s rarely had an actual serious relationship before, so he’s used to this fast paced “fall hard and fast” script. Meanwhile Ivy is very easy to spook for lack of a better term. He helps her take the risk needed to do new things and she helps him slow down and appreciate the small things.
They’re both considered outcasts from their own respective groups and feel abandoned by their family so They Get Each Other(tm).

So I meant to give this to Rea three hours from now, but I was trying to save it on my other blog on Sunday via private post, I misfired as a public one, so I ended up pretty much giving it to her five days ago? It's her Birthday tomorrow! Actually going back to the coffee thing IT'S ALSO REALLY ENCOURAGING when someone can relate with you about the late nights going over notes and trying not to overconsume caffeine to the point where you shake like a leaf in the wind HAWLY I mean it was only a few times (ONCE OR TWICE!?) but it really made me feel a lot better WAHAHA I will never forget the relief of having that kind of Nakama
