by OVERWHELMING request, here is my song fort thunder. it is very well loved among my irl friends so i hope all my tumblr friends like it too!!! it's about an art studio/music venue/home that used to be pretty popular in the 90s in providence rhode island, if y'all were wondering.

fort thunder lyric explanation!!

fort thunder was an art studio, music venue and home to artists in late 90s/early 2000s providence RI. it was home to noise rock bands like lightning bolt and forcefield. it shaped the noise rock scene and the providence art scene. fort thunder was also known for holding halloween parties and costumed wrestling matches. its cool okay. look it up.

fort thunder was an artist collective, music venue and home to many artists in late 90s/early 2000s providence RI. the mill fort thunder was in was demolished in 2002. 

procrastination, fleeting obsession, 

artists tend to procrastinate and lose motivation/obsessions for projects pretty quickly. or at least i do.

fort thunder is known for being covered in lots of stuff. anything they could find, they put on the walls.
