She’d been counting down the days since the moment she had officially asked Ivy out for a date and had gotten a positive response. She had to admit, she couldn’t remember the last time she had been this excited to go out with someone. Ivy was smart, she was funny, she was kind and she was gorgeous in every way. It was everything Nicola was looking for in a person and more and while her excitement to spend more time with the woman knew no bounds, she was also incredibly nervous about it. The last thing she wanted was to screw this up.
However, they had been texting for the most part and something had undeniably clicked between them. It had been a while since she had felt this connected to another person. The truth was, she couldn’t remember if she had ever felt this connected to another person. Which made the whole thing both scary and incredibly exhilarating.
Her outfit had taken way too long to be picked, even though it certainly wasn’t something too fancy. A pair of neat looking jeans, paired with the elegant white top and a pair of heels accented every curve of her body perfectly, while at the same time not being too revealing for a first date. However, now that everything was set and done, she was exactly at the location that Ivy had sent her, standing in front of her car and waiting for the other to come out of the building. Blue eyes scanned the street and the apartment building in front f her, searching for the familiar face — until Ivy finally stepped out of the front door, looking absolutely breathtaking. Immediately when Nicola spotted her, a bright smile lit up her face, her heartbeat speeding up.
