Didn’t he reply to her in the Rin route? Maybe I’m misremembering. Or maybe his growth in this route compared to the Rin route caused him to not mail her back.

Well, I guess that’s that. Maybe he was right that Iwanako was just doing it for her own benefit. I like to think that maybe they just weren’t able to connect anymore.
Yeah, that’s honestly probably why she stopped coming to the hospital, she couldn’t stand seeing someone she cared about without any happiness.
It would be nice if they managed to stay in contact like that.
I honestly don’t blame Iwanako that much. It’s not like she stopped visiting because he was disabled. It sounds like he made no real attempt and just kind of sat there in the sorrow he felt.
I don’t blame Hisao much either though, he had just gotten tough news that was hard to deal with. But I don’t think it’s entirely on Iwanako.
In another world where he decided to make the most of things, maybe him and Iwanako could have still been friends, and even still dated.
But it feels like part of it is based on it not feeling right to be around him when he was like that, which caused them to drift apart.

This is nice, I’m not sure if it’s the scene, or the art style, but I like how this game looks. Kind of surprised it’s starting with a confession. Usually isn’t that near the end of romances?
