Maki felt her eye twitch when the fourth piece of paper bounced off her head.
“Nico, for the last goddamn time, I know you never studied a day in your life, but I have three tests this week, and I-”
“Maki, that’s hella boring,” Nico snickered from where she was lying on the loveseat.
Maki only stared. “I’m not even going to respond.”
“But Maki-chan, you just hella responded,” Oikawa bit his lip, giggling.
“I wish you both wouldn’t,” Iwaizumi didn’t look up from the book he was reading.
“I wish you hella would,” Nico poked Iwaizumi in the side with her foot, and then kicked the book out of his hands.
Iwaizumi turned his head without moving his arms or hands.
“Iwa-chan!” Nico grinned.
Iwaizumi scowled, and Nico grinned harder.
“Nico-chan! The cupcakes are hella ready, wanna help me hella frost them?” Oikawa called from the kitchenette.
“Hella!” Nico exclaimed, rolling off the couch and jumping up, striding towards him.
Iwaizumi glanced up and met eyes with Maki. They both rolled their eyes.
“Wanna go to the hella library?” Maki suggested softly. Not softly enough.
“Maki-chan! You’re like, hella bad at this!” Oikawa chided.
Iwaizumi and Maki both ignored him. “I’d hella love to.”
