In all honesty, with how things have been going with 'her' team, she preferred keeping her thoughts to herself. They didn't recognize her as their leader, which meant that her bonds with them from her world didn't exist here. It made everything she worked so hard for pointless. Even though she, Yukari and Junpei started getting to know each other more, it was still depressing.

She was still a wild card like the rest of them with so many responsibilities, and she was, no doubt, tired of exploring that futuristic labyrinth. Minato's words cheered her up a little, forcing a smile on her lips and squeezing his hand a little.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks, Minato-kun." Resting in the lobby and chatting with Theo was a splendid idea. "Be careful out there, okay?"

42. A clumsy kiss

She stumbled over her feet just as she leaned forward to give him a kiss. Why today gravity decided to make her an enemy or how she missed that one step in front of the café after months of always stepping over it....Either way, Akira falls into his arms with a yelp as her hands grip his upper arms and her cheeks flared red.

Her lips pressed against the corner of his lips entirely as she clung to him.

"Ahhh! Not you too, Minato-kun!" She blushed, using her hand to cover her lips to hide the small giggle trying to escape from her mouth. "Well, I can't say no to you."

Even if her cheeks were red and on fire, she leaned up to kiss his cheek, knowing full well she was too shy to kiss him anywhere else. Fuuka backs away slowly after the kiss and shoots her eyes downward. "I-I hope that was good for you."

“Yes, exactly.” He pauses a moment before touching his hand to the pot. “...at least let me warm it up a bit for you, though.” If it’s gonna be from the pot, it may as well be hot.

“Wha-Wait!”

No don’t separate the coffee from her! However she does eventually, reluctantly, hands it over.

“....Okay, you make a good point. Hot coffee sounds better right now.”

Her gaze seemed static; entirely focused, squarely on him. Brows furrowed, she seemed to be concentrating, or at least deep in thought, as she stared down the leader of her squad.

❝You know, I've been wondering for awhile now,❞ she finally speaks, dropping her steel stare. ❝What kind of music do you listen to all the time? I'm sure this isn't the first time you've been asked, but...❞ Now, she appears shy, that once-focused gaze flitting to the ground. ❝Maybe we have something in common, or maybe you could give me recommendations.❞

Akira lightly brushed her fingers against his bangs, frowning a little before pressing the back of her hand against his forehead. “...You’re not sleepy,” she finally spoke up as she leaned against him.

They were resting up in the attic, or trying to rest...

Akira’s hands squeeze, keeping in mind not to do so too hard as she looks down at him. A red flushed on her face at their newest positions, her on top of him with her blouse torn open revealing her breasts as she pants.

It had been a small argument...Something about her being reckless before during her thief days or maybe it was because she had been upset he hadn’t kept his phone in check and came home late...Either way the argument had been them just tossing a few jabs here and there before Akira and Minato were pressing against each other.

“I’m worried because I love you and I don’t want to lose you.”

That had been tossed out at the same time and now they were in the bedroom...

Her body hot as she kissed him again, “Minato....Minato,” she whispers his name while moving again. Skirt riding up as she continued to press against him before slowly pressing her face against his neck, “I want you...Right now...Please?”
