I currently have a 4 year old son and I am so exhausted most of my time off. So, my priority always goes to my son and family first, and then RPs. It has been a while since I’ve been on here, but I will get to RPs usually within a day or two if possible. I usually get to replies during night time while the kiddo is sleeping.

Sorry for more radio silence from me.

On top of my dad dying, I’ve been on vacation, working, and dealing with a tooth abscess that now is becoming another root canal. So dealing with pain for a couple weeks has been rough.

And Animal Crossing New Horizons has taken my life over sooooooo…

On top of sort of losing motivation with RPing, I can’t find myself to get back on here atm. I love you all so much but just can’t find the wanting to get back on here. Maybe it’s a bit of depression with the winter months (seasonal depression~✨), losing sense of who I am as a person, or being overwhelmed, but I’ll be back soon. I hope.

Spring is right around the corner, my work environment is 99.9% less toxic and I enjoy coming to work again, and vacations the next two months—I am hoping something will change in me.

The laundry hamper was empty. All clothing in that stage has already been moved forward in the process. Teddie’s gotten better at chores lately.

At the bottom of the empty hamper, almost easily missable, was another note:

“Ta-da! Laundry all done! You can thank me later. <3

I’m happy to take care of our apartment together. I feel like I’m taking care of a home. You’ve always been so kindhearted ever since I’ve come here. Making sure I’m comfortable and well-taken care of.

I want to take care of you, too. If you’ll let me. It’s what you’ve always deserved.

Love, Teddie”

She chuckled as she leaned down to the bottom and pulled the note out of the hamper. "This is so precious..." Fuuka read the last part of the note, her heart skipping a beat and felt her cheeks heating up. Even though he didn't say it to her, Fuuka knew that Teddie would do anything for her--protect her, love her, the list goes on.

Fuuka held the note to her chest, turning on her heels and looking around the apartment. "...Where else should I look?" Fuuka began to leave the laundry room, relieved that most of the chores were already done. And then something clicked in her mind.

"...let's check the bathroom. I'm sure there has to be a note or something silly in there."

I won’t be on for the rest of the week and then some.

Just found out my father died. I was going to go see him yesterday with the family but I’m glad I didn’t because… I think I would be traumatized.

Idk if I’ll be back the rest of the month tbh. Might need a small escape from reality as it crashes down around me.

She blinked, almost jumping at how quiet Aigis was, and turned to look at Aigis while putting on an oven mitt. "I am!" She smiled as she opened the stove and double checked her dessert.

"It's only chocolate chip cookies--does it really smell that good?"

A small gasp left Aigis's lips as Fuuka laid her head against her chest. She thought of herself as an asset to the team, but not an actual living person, surely not something that had friends, but when Fuuka said she wanted to live by her friends until the very end, she meant everyone, including Aigis.. She saw Aigis as an actual living thing, even though at the moment, she didn't see herself as a living thing.

"But Fuuka san... I'm not.." Aigis paused. She couldn't find the words to argue, and the more she thought about it, she thought of everyone in her team as her friends too, and she too wanted to be beside them until the very end. Eventually her hand would slowly and softly be placed on Fuuka's back, keeping her a little closer. "I am scared for all of you.. I can't stand seeing everyone worried and in pain.. knowing that you all are going against something you can't defeat, but.. I.. I also want to live by everyone's side until the end.. Including by your side, Fuuka."

Watching Aigis just think everything through made a smile appear on Fuuka's lips. Stumping Aigis, even for a little bit, was a bit of an accomplishment. She really wanted the best for her friends--if she had to hype them up and make them feel good, she will do it until she is out of breath.

"Of course we will! Just think about it: we defeat Nyx, celebrate with the rest of our friends, and then..." Fuuka stopped short, looking up at Aigis and then back down as she took one of her hands around Aigis and cupped her chin. "...huh. I don't know what we'll do after that. I mean, besides going to school the next day." A soft laugh escaped her lips. "As if nothing would change that. But, maybe once our senpais graduate, we will be third years! And maybe you'll finish the school year out with us?"

She felt her heart drop 6 feet into the ground. Just the way he spoke made her wonder if she messed up and should have said something else. Social cues weren't easy for her to interpret, but Fuuka hated herself just a little. She didn't want anyone to feel like she did back before she joined SEES: alone, scared, and weak.

"Ryoji..." Fuuka murmured softly, placing a hand on his shoulder and tried to look at him eye to eye. "It's because you are becoming more of a human with this form. Forget about Nyx for a moment--she may have created you for bad or good or whatever! But you know what? You've made an everlasting part on my memory and soul. You've made me laugh and smile in ways I've never had anyone try to." She kept a small smile on her lips, knowing that feeling of chest pain.

"That pain in your chest? That's the pain of creating bonds and not wanting to upset your friends." Fuuka explained, feeling her own heart breaking as she felt like she was going all over the place with her explanation. She could feel emotions from everyone, unsure if it was because of Juno or not. "And...you've helped me get out of a dark part of mind. You've done what others couldn't do for me--that's something special, Ryoji." Fuuka took her hand from his shoulder and poked his chest with her index finger. She lowered her head, hiding the pain on her face from when people started to die and everything seemed to go downhill ever since.

"I will never hate you, but I will hate how you can't be separated from Nyx to live your own life to the fullest."

Becoming more human... That had to be it, but Ryoji struggled to tell whether that was a blessing or a curse. He'd never thought before that being human could be this scary. This painful.

But Fuuka's words meant a lot to him. Bringing joy to his friends, making their lives better, was all he wanted. Ryoji managed a small smile as he met her gaze.

"...Thank you, Fuuka-san. I'm relieved to hear that. You guys are incredibly important to me, you know? So if I've truly left such a positive impact on your life, then I'm glad at least something good came from this form of mine."

It was just a shame that a human form wasn't enough to break him free from his connection to Nyx. Fuuka's last comment wiped the smile from Ryoji's face, and he gave a sigh.

"I hate it too, but... I had fun with you all. I got to experience so many incredible things and learn so much about the world. I got to feel what it was like to be human. And if I could touch the lives of the humans like you that I admired so much, can I really say I didn't live my life to the fullest?"

Hearing that Ryoji was truly thankful for Fuuka did make her smile softly. Fuuka just wanted to be able to see Ryoji before he had to disappear--he might have been a very flirtatious person, but he still wanted to make people happy even if death surrounded him. And Fuuka had to commend him for that.

"Oh, Ryoji..." She murmured his name, reaching out for his arm and gripping it tenderly. "I think that you've lived life to the fullest, but as much as I want to be selfish, it isn't fair that you've been given this short life to live." Fuuka explained, her other hand cupping the other side of his arm. She looked down at the ground, wishing there was something she could kick out of frustration. Ryoji did NOT count.

Fuuka sighed softly, wishing she didn't have so many thoughts tangling her mind up at this moment. "I wish I could help you experience more of what life has to offer. But, we don't. And I'm sorry."

"We can go to Tartarus another night. There will not be another full moon for another two weeks. You must rest." Aigis put her hands on Fuuka's shoulders, forcing her to stay seated. Hopefully she doesn't have to carry her to bed. Going to Tartarus was not an option. The team could not go without a Navigator, and the Navigator could not go when she's ill.

Kirijo San was great at making tea, that was one of her specialties. It just made sense to let her do it, but Fuuka was correct that Kirijo san did have a lot on her shoulders and was probably busy. Aigis had never made tea before, but she would try her best. "Alright. I will do my best to prepare some tea with a couple tea spoons of sugar, and medicine. Meanwhile you will rest in your bedroom, correct?"

She nodded, smiling weakly at Aigis. "Of course--but..." Fuuka looked down at her body, trying to climb the last stair to the third floor and eyed her door. Everything seemed to look so far away from her--maybe she was sicker than she thought. "...could you help me get undressed? I... ...I don't have the energy to really do much. I think I'll just collapse on my bed if you don't help me out." A weak laugh escaped her lips.

Fuuka held onto the nearby railing and wiped her forehead, wondering if she was just sweating cause she was warm or because of pure exhaustion. "That is, if you don't mind?"

((Evening guys.

I am still feeling like absolute shit tbh. I think I've worn myself down the last two days since my husband is off until Thursday and so...we've been doing A LOT of family stuff. And I think I've done too much (Monday we did the aquarium and grocery shopping, and today he went to occupation therapy with the kiddo and I, went to an antique mall, and did get groceries we missed the day previous).

...so I feel sick again--sore throat and everything again. Like the medicine isn't doing it's job. Idk anymore. Anyway, replies will be posted tomorrow throughout the day. I'll be on Junpei for majority of tonight over at @blazeoflife.))

Just finished a D&D session with my husband and his friends.

My Druid Disney princess character (wanted her to be able to talk to animals, hence Druid) was revealed to be a half devil (NEWS REVEALED BY MY DM OF A HUSBAND TODAY), had her childhood friend (prince from a country over) propose to her, and find out her mother is a devil (once dead and now alive) and her father’s spirit is in a big ass fucking titan that is being controlled by her.

Not like I just got off of work and walked into this. Oh, and when her mother transported her on top of the titan and I failed a wisdom saving throw and was forced to jump off 1300 ft in the air, a green ancient dragon saved me and her childhood friend was galloping on his horse, trying to catch up to her and save her.

Can’t wait for the team to see a half devil princess now! 🥲
