The 2024 IWRY Fic Superlatives (@iwillrememberyoumarathon) were last night and it was a great time. Not only that, but I got a few surprises along the way ;)
As you can see, my fic Fuzzy Feelings gets to share the spotlight with Surprise by MeTheMermaid (@casenpoint) who is an AMAZING Bangel writer and I'm so honored to be considered in the same league as her for the Most Fluffy IWRY fic.
My other fic Change of Plans was nominated in the same category and also for Reader's Choice, which is an honor in itself ♥ and ironically enough, @casenpoint was also competing against one of her own stories in the same category as well! xD
Others who I'm particularly proud of include @mamabewear for her fic A Different Kind of Death, which won for Most Angsty. This was our only Bangelus entry for the first part of the IWRY Marathon and gifted to me :D :3 and my wonderful co-owner @reallyreal-madeingold got a nomination for Most Creative for their fic Love is Like Starlight. And deservedly so, the Most Sexy award was given to @evesock for her fic Tell Me. As yins know (or don't) I am a total fangirl of hers and read damn near everything she posts!
Regardless if I tagged you or not, I am so blessed to be part of a group of such talented, lovely individuals - including the hosts of the marathon itself. Because of this event, I not only was able to finish and add 3 different Bangel stories to my works portfolio, but I was able to meet some wonderful new writers and get to both read and build up their confidence as a result.
And last but not least, Sharing is Caring FINALLY got the rewrite it deserved and was submitted to the mini-event Another Minute.
