Give me a character and I’ll break their ass down:

How I feel about this character: hestia is literally goals. i think she goes so under appreciated, but she literally held the gods together. she held volatile, selfish, hateful, and vengeful gods together for no other reason than that’s who she IS. and without her, olympus likely would have fallen apart? without her to talk sense into her family? without her there to comfort those in a difficult state? yikes. she is so important to me ok. i will go doWN DEFENDING HER. 

All the people I ship romantically with this character: thats the great thing about hestia! she does all that, AND SHE’S ASEXUAL/AROMANTIC. representation! zero romantic ships for her! still important!

My non-romantic OTP for this character: ZEUS/HESTIA. AHHHHHHHHH. the ultimate brotp. but also hestia/hades and hestia/demeter.

My unpopular opinion about this character: um. the fact that i think she still IS  a virgin and plans on staying that way? a lot of people disagree, sO. maybe that. also that i think she’s one of the most important deities on olympus tbh.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: literally anything. just MORE. more myths to read about, more to go on. maybe some more proof of just how much she loved everyone and how much they loved her.

          semele was beautiful-- stunning, really, and in a way that stood out immensely. at least, it did to zeus. she was charming, and could make zeus smile faster than any else. she was kind and strong in ways that he had not seen before, and-- god damn it was she good at THAT.

         discarded clothes lie on the ground, and the sheets were no longer in their proper place. and her blonde hair between his legs was an enticing sight-- the cherry on top of her actions that arched his back ever so slightly, and made a groan rise in his throat. it felt GOOD, and it felt intimate, and it was really hot-- but if anything, it only drove him mad, made him want her more than before, and his slight squirming was surely giving him away. 

       he normally hated not having control, but with her he was willing-- very willing. it took all he had not to pull her up and flip her over, but he wouldn’t dare. zeus was certain she could do some amazing things if he just sat back and let it happen.

              it’s all just a little too much. he hasn’t had a proper night’s sleep in weeks-- he hasn’t eaten right, he hasn’t breathed without a crushing feeling of anxiety in just as long, and he’s fed up. he’s tired, he’s lonely, he NEEDS something more, and everything goes flying out the window when he sees poseidon.

              his heart races, and his fists clench. his eyes narrow in a weak attempt to seem threatening, but it doesn’t last. he’s craving affection, he wants to be touched, and touched more than just a polite handshake. it’s stupid, and it’s reckless, and he’s abandoning everything he’s feeling, but he does it. the king steps forward, faster than poseidon could react, and he kisses him. 

              he’s angry, and it shows. he’s angry at poseidon, at hestia, at HIMSELF, and he wants it all to be OVER. he kisses the sea god hard, lips surely bruising with the force, and his hands grip poseidon’s hips with just as much strength. he’s gasping, and he’s shaking, and he’s desperate for more, but he’s ANGRY, so damn angry, and he stops himself before it goes to far.

              when he pulls back, he’s afraid to look, afraid to see what he’s done to his brother. this was wrong. he’d made a mistake, and the king turns, rushing off before he can say or do anything further. but he can’t deny the relief he’s feeling, even with his frustration. and maybe that has to count for something.
