BEN 👏SOLO👏FLYING👏THE👏MILLENNIUM👏FALCON👏

Reasons why it could happen

1) Disney did not have to make sure that Solo came out so soon after TLJ. They could’ve easily waited, especially because TFA was the last time we saw Han and it would’ve made sense to have Solo come out right after TFA. Placing it after TLJ makes the Falcon more relevant leading up to IX.

2) There are no other Star Wars movies between Solo and IX I’M JUST SAYING

3) Why is Solo important? It’s the last time we see Han flying the Falcon. TLJ even ends with CHEWIE flying it, so who better to fly it next than Ben?

4) Honestly it would just be incredibly meaningful to fans to see him fly it after being redeemed. In fact, I’d choose to see that as his first act as Ben again, simply for the nostalgia.

Today’s IX Theory That Nobody Asked For

Rey will NOT kill Kylo Ren

The Jedi Order beliefs that we saw throughout the PT is NOT what defines a Jedi anymore.

However, one element that has stayed true is the compassion shown by a Jedi when faced with the opportunity to kill a Dark Side user. Just like how Anakin did not want to kill Palpatine in RotS, and how Luke did not want to kill Vader in ROTJ, we ABSOLUTELY will see Rey in the same context not wanting to kill Kylo.

If Rey were to kill Kylo Ren, the story loses everything it built up in Rey. She would be succumbing to the Dark Side and that’s not the story that is being told.

Rey will battle Kylo, but she will not kill him. My hope is that she will redeem him and we get Bendemption! Star Wars is about showing what is between the black and white, and that all characters will not necessarily act in a way you might predict.

Today’s IX Theory That Nobody Asked For

Hux finds out that Kylo asked Rey to rule the galaxy with him and he’s suuuuper salty about it.

I’ve talked previously about my theory where Hux takes over the first order, but can we focus on Kylo completely ignoring Hux’s devotion to the FO and asking Rey to rule with him???

Hux’s whole ambition has been to rise within the First Order. Idk about you, but hearing that some “scavenger girl” was offered such a high position would piss me off if I was Hux.

Hopefully, this happens because lies don’t continue to be lies in Star Wars!

Everything is brought out into the light—just look at Luke’s portrayal of what happened with Ben.

Also I feel like all you Kylux shippers (of which I am not, but you’re valid and do some amazing artwork) would really get a kick out of scorned-lover-Hux.

With General Leia Organa dying a RESPECTABLE death that is NOT at the hands of her son, it is time for the Resistance to have a new leader. Who better than the passionate and admirable Lieutenant Connix, who is not only qualified for said position but is actually played by the daughter of Carrie Fisher so it’s super meaningful????

Today’s IX Theory That Nobody Asked For

Greetings, younglings!

Today’s #IXTTNAF (wow that’s long) is about one of my (and a lot of other peoples) favorite parts of TLJ: ForceTime! Now available on the iTunes App Store for $1.99!

Perhaps it’s an anti theory, that Snoke was telling the truth about bridging the gap between Rey and Kylo, but I hesitate to think that a villain such as Snoke is someone to be taken seriously.

We see Palpatine consistently lie and distort facts, and if TFA is largely influenced by the previous episodes, what’s to say that Snoke is any different from his “predecessor” in that regard?

For IX, we will see the ForceTime again. Rey may have closed the door on Kylo, but if Bendemption is to be believed (and I definitely believe in it) we will see even more of the Force bond, and even longer/stronger segments.

Today’s IX Theory That Nobody Asked For

JJ decides to make fun of all of us for freaking out upon hearing there’s a one-year time jump and has all the characters make really pointed remarks about it.

“Man, can’t believe what a year it’s been,” Poe says as he drags his hand through his hair. He’s sweaty because he’s on a jungle planet and his hair now reaches his waist.

“Time sure flies when you’re busy!” Rey exclaims as she brandishes the fifth lightsaber she’s made since visiting the Crystal Caves. She wants to be prepared for her duel with Kylo and you can always use a backup!

“One year later, and you’re still an idiot,” Hux mumbles under his breath behind Kylo’s back. Kylo turns around and force chokes him because he’s mad Rey still hasn’t force-Skyped him back and he doesn’t 👏 need👏 sass 👏 from 👏 Hux 👏

Today’s IX Theory Nobody Asked For

You’ve heard Anakin and Padmé‘ Theme, now get ready for: ❤️Ben and Rey’s Theme❤️

As a classically trained clarinetist, I would obviously want that instrument featured. I think a French Horn would be so lovely too, since Williams features it quite often for softer moments - like when he used it so majestically in Luke’s theme and in those horn riff’s in Augie’s Great Municipal Band and End Credits in The Phantom Menace but we don’t talk about that.

TLJ saw “Fun With Finn and Rose” so WHY NOT?

I would love to hear a beautiful theme between them just like Across the Stars, especially since we get a “romantic” theme in each trilogy!
