Daisy: It’s like a space FaceTime, but sort of more immediate. And no bad line. Ever.

You're kinda, sorta, basically, pretty much always on my mind.

“Oh really?” Rey spat, but she couldn’t quite muster the venom she was going for. She knew what he was saying was true; he’d proven it over and over again this past year, appearing to her like this at the most inconvenient times, forcing her to duck out of meetings and meals and even her training with Leia to shout at him to leave her alone. I’ll find you, he always said, and it was a threat but it sounded like something else.

And now he was in front of her again, seated this time, hair in disarray, eyes downcast, fingers playing together, and the words had tumbled out of him as if he, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, was uncertain, or shy, or nervous.

She had worked so hard to hate him, because that seemed like the best way to keep him away, because he was wrong and he didn’t listen to her and he had hurt, killed, so many people, including his own father; but she didn’t hate him, she could never hate him, and as she stood over him and he looked up at her, she wished with her entire being that he would abandon the horrible life he’d chosen and come to her not as a conqueror, not as Kylo Ren, but as the man she knew he could be: Ben Solo.

Today’s IX Theory That Nobody Asked For

Greetings, younglings!

Today’s #IXTTNAF (wow that’s long) is about one of my (and a lot of other peoples) favorite parts of TLJ: ForceTime! Now available on the iTunes App Store for $1.99!

Perhaps it’s an anti theory, that Snoke was telling the truth about bridging the gap between Rey and Kylo, but I hesitate to think that a villain such as Snoke is someone to be taken seriously.

We see Palpatine consistently lie and distort facts, and if TFA is largely influenced by the previous episodes, what’s to say that Snoke is any different from his “predecessor” in that regard?

For IX, we will see the ForceTime again. Rey may have closed the door on Kylo, but if Bendemption is to be believed (and I definitely believe in it) we will see even more of the Force bond, and even longer/stronger segments.
