The shadow of a boat confused the mermaid as she swam with the whales before hiding along the caves. She had seen humans before, but from a distance up on the ice. It seemed to stop before her cave and she carefully poked her head out to see one human who was a bit interesting. His hair was star-shaped and he seemed a bit perplexed. 

The mermaid wasn’t supposed to be seen by humans, well not in this form at least. Still she was intrigued by the human so she ventured from her cave, forgetting that the sun reflected her silvery teal-jade tail and the moonlight white hair as she moved a bit closer but was still just enough away that the human would have to come into the water to see her clearly.

When Yuugi and the Pharaoh first released me, the connection I had felt for years was realized. It was impossible to ignore, while I was sleeping and even now. Regaining the ability to move about, view things that had changed within the millenias passed I could not describe the feeling. Something I was able to pinpoint was immense gratitude. The prophecy was realized, and perhaps on some level I did not have to feel so towards the pair, but it existed. We had to put an end to Dartz and the Orichalcos, but without them, I would have remained sleeping until someone or someones worthy was brought to the Spirit World.

That knowledge never was pushed from my immediate attention. The Orichalcos was the priority. But, I was tremendously curious about everything, about my Summoners. I wanted to spend time with them, not just remaining in my card but out with them too. When Yuugi summoned me to attack the Eye, those moments were not enough to satisfy. I knew I would have more opportunities, but I wanted to relish in them while we had time together. When the Orichalcos was destroyed, returning to the Spirit World was inevitable.

I had tried to visit Yuugi while he was residing in his room, but his room was much too small for my body as it was. So, I waited until he was outside again, easily appearing not far from him & continued to wait, knowing very well I would come to his attention quickly.

but also remember. it was 10,000 something years? i don’t remember the time well but he was technically a spirit himself. Since his body was frozen in the throne of Atlantis. It’s possible he forgot who they were.

dartz? wasn’t he actively collecting souls for ten thousand years? i remember that frozen dartz thing but i don’t remember what it was lol.

maybe it was the orichalcos god who turned the knights into dragons, and dartz is just like. mentally not there for this whole thing. idk tho at the  end when atem is attacked by the “true form” of the god isn’t that dartz explaining what the heck that black serpent-like thing was--?

A sinking feeling drowned in the pit of his stomach, one that was easily concealed by a neutral or otherwise uninterested expression. However, this time, Saiga blinked, gaze trailing down to the baked good as he attempted to mull over the ingredient... with no avail, naturally.
