What did you think of the interaction between Azazel and Lucifer? to me I love, Azazel not 100% submissive to Lucifer the truth I did not expect it, Lucifer's expression before striking Azazel is like I do not want to do it? to me it seemed to me and the expression of Azazel is like "you hit me" although that may be my idea and that Azazel's punishment for his lack of respect is just a blow to the face? curious. I wish I could see them together more time I want more of them

their interaction is totally like I always imagined them to be, and I had to check I wasnt dreaming or something and that luci/aza scene was not just inside my head lulz
I totally think that bookslap is just lucifer’s version of love tap or something haha
this is esp bcs he uses a book instead of his actual fist or his magic to blow azazel away; he’s wearing a gauntlet/protective armor, and it would hurt a lot more if he actually uses his hand.
but using a book gives a much lighter blow, and it doesn’t actually do much to azazel other than making him fall; shocked and a bit lost, but definitely unhurt.
the book hits azazel’s cheek, but his cheeks are totally unhurt and unmarked, not even a single blemish could be found.
srsly, with that much difference in their physical power, if he really wants to punish azazel, he could do a hell of a lot more damage.
yet he chooses his book to hit him with, which for him probably only counts as ‘teasing’ and not actual punishment.
also pls look at lucifer’s smile here:
this is the joyous happy smile of someone whose fav person has finally come back to his side.
the guy couldn’t even pretend to be mad at him for more than 0.05 second.
also when he snapped at Lucifer, azazel switched from polite speech to uh what you’d call punk speech probably, very informal, like the way delinquent speaks, and this is NO WAY to speak to your superior.
if it’s another demon and not azazel, lucifer probably would have straight out exiled or killed them.
(if the worried demon general from ep15 heard this, he’d have a heart attack probably lulz)
speaking of lucifer’s expression before he hits him, I think rather than thinking I do not want to do it, i’m pretty sure he’s actually just trying to hold back and not show how much he missed his misbehaving right hand man ;-)
this is esp the moment azazel appears, he actually looks up from his book.
while in ep15, the whole time his generals talking, he stays glued to his book, and only when azazel’s name comes up he actually looks up.
conclusion: azazel could steal his attention just by existing <3
