omfdsdf i never got around to doing this but i had a little shock when i saw your follow bc I LOVE YOUR APH FIC ;; it took me a bit to realize why your un looked so familiar but when i figured it out i was amazed... your usuk characterizations are so good and really get at the aspects i like about their relationship, and even though you don't write for aph anymore i still wanted to let you know how 👌👌 your stuff is! also i got all excited at some point bc i read that you speak canto too lmao

Hi okay, I have to admit I’m flailed like crazy when I received this ask because you’re so sweet? I was writing a fic crossed-over with APH recently (not US/UK though) and felt incredibly nostalgic, so I went hunting for blogs of my OTP and honestly your art is just absolutely gorgeous and I’m kind of sitting here going “they’re brilliant, and they like my fics?? omg”. Your beautiful comic/compilation art of US/UK through ages has been sitting in my drafts for awhile; I’ve been planning to reblog it and yelling a lot about it in the tags, I just haven’t had the time yet. Complete mutual admiration right back at you ♥. 

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for US/UK and it makes me so happy that you like my fics and the way I characterize them and that you enjoyed them enough to send this to me even though I haven’t written them in a long while. I really do wish the APH fandom (and fandom as a whole) hadn’t been driven off LiveJournal because I get most motivated to write when it comes to prompt-based challenges and exchanges, and Tumblr is kind of… scattered.  

And yes! my spoken Mandarin is much better though since my Canto was pretty much picked up from all the TVB shows my family watched all the time when I was younger ahaha
