I had to go chase down the exact wording but I always loved this from Red, Blood Red: Jason wasn’t sure what traumatized him more; the loss of a kid he saw as a brother, or the fact that when he looked down at Tim’s grave, sometimes he saw his own name.

This is an oldie but man that is a good line. Some of my bat fic has help up shockingly well despite being 7-8 years old. Sometimes I consider going back and rewriting some of it (like the Talon AU properly) but limited time.

It probably won’t be up until tomorrow night as I gotta edit the shit out of it and then format it properly but at least the essential plot and body of the thing is down.

Hi the first footnote is legit the funniest thing I've read in a while.

The best/worst bit about that footnote is it is entirely based on reality. Not on hell’s paperwork preferences (I don’t know that bit, never been, hoping not to), but on actual work memos people have sent me, to view, with my human eyes. Red text, violet background. I forgot the font but I do remember wanting to send back “this is a crime.”

The footnote for context:

To be fair to Hell’s minions, all official notices were written in comic sans and written in red text on a deep violet background. And honestly, who could read such an eyesore.

🎲 peeps who won't let me have fun with my character and name them what I want it took me two hours to come up with that pun for my rogue :( "not taking it seriously" it's a game ya ding dong!! If my character is a flamboyant rogue that's my prerogative!

I will say this: it depends on the group! Some games of dnd are tailored to serious plot heavy stuff while some are meant to be silly and stupid. Both are fun and valid, but they’re just different tones. Kinda how people watch dramas and comedies but both are having fun.

If your group was going serious, that might be the issue in which case there needs to be a larger discussion about tone so everyone is on the same page. Silly games and serious games are both fun but not when everyone isn’t on the same page. 

That all being said however, DnD is a game. Serious plotty games should still be FUN. If serious games banned all  silliness, that cramps creativity. So chillax ya’ll, one pun won’t ruin your Game of Thrones RPG.
