Tribble Month 2022 Day 8: Izha

At night, the trees lean their branches into her bedroom window and whisper to her on strains of wind.

When she walks down the street, the flowers in the neighbors’ gardens sway in greeting and fill her in on the latest gossip.

In the marketplace, the produce gripes about the heat and the noise and the people and anything else they can think of, to anyone who can hear.  Which isn’t most.

And on her hikes through the forests, everything brims with wondrous noise, an improvised, perfected symphony that buzzes against her whole body.

What else to do, but listen?

Another day, another underdeveloped character getting some attention!  I went into this a bit irritated that most of my fae characters on day 1 (technically, Fizzy's still a possibility, but I've since realized that a lot of their stuff is based on someone else's interpretation of fae folklore instead of me going and interpreting the folklore myself, which means I gotta do research, which means they're on the back burner for a bit), but I do really like what I have of Izha so far, so this works out.
