Hitohito and Izuchi went to school together since they’re both from Sweet Beach; they’ve known each other since like grade school and met in the same class.
Hitohito was always an excitable child and Izuchi was already distant during the time they met. Hitohito did that kid thing where you bring prospective friends a lot of useless items; he gave Izuchi seashells and that’s what sparked his interest in collecting them.
Izuchi acts annoyed by Hitohito a lot because while he does, on some level, appreciate the non-judgemental company, it takes a lot of energy for him to deal with social people and he’s always wary of getting close to people. Hitohito tries to be considerate of Izuchi but it’s kind of hard for him when he’s loud and gets easily excited by any attention. Their needs are very different but they’re trying to be friends, okay
Hitohito’s parents were away a lot and Izuchi didn’t like the pressure his parents put on him so they mostly hung out at the beach after school until late.
Hitohito took up fishing because when they were young Hitohito would take the bait and try to pet the fish; Izuchi got fed up and taught him how to fish and it’s the only activity that he can concentrate on well because he really appreciates Izuchi teaching him. Izuchi’s never seen him so quiet and still.
Izuchi isn’t good with animals, unfortunately. Hitohito is always trying to get the animals in Fairytale Forest to like him.
Izuchi and Hitohito don’t actually have each other registered in their Friend Lists and Hitohito’s current goal is get Izuchi to send a friend request.
