Hey my dude, found your page and I really enjoy your art style and wanna support another disabled Jewish transmasc. I know it's a bit of a faux pas to bring up the 🍉 situation, but I don't feel comfortable commissioning someone who may support the actions of israel. I would love to have a dialogue or a conversation, if that's something you're willing to do. I know being an American Jew in these times is really hard, and seeing the diaspora being split over the actions of a place that was meant to be safe for All of us is sad.

i am very strongly anti-zionist & believe in a free palestine, i actually even made a zine/mini prayer book about being an anti-zionist obvervant queer jew with prayers for palestine included. i also run @k0sher , which is my explicitly pro-palestine jewish sideblog where i collect archives of jewish art & history. i also run a small (invite only) anti-zionist jewish queer discord server, which anyone is welcome to dm & ask for an invite (as long as you have some info on your blog to make sure youre not a troll/asshole).

none of this to promote, moreso just to say this is something i really care about and i put a lot of time and effort into making my art, my hobbies, and my communities actively show respect & love for palestine. i am also a diasporist yid & want to fight to make the whole world a safe place for jews, not just 1 place obtained by colonization & genocide. doikayt is something im very passionate about & see as attainable goal that could be achieved in our lifetimes. i will be blatantly honest & say i grew up in a very liberal-zionist community & still get stuck on certain talking points, but i am also always open to conversation & want to know when im in the wrong so i can be better.

sorry for radio silence on here . my life has kindof been crazy ever since i lost my home but things are slightly better now, i have temporary housing & im still working on getting on SSI disability. in the meantime it looks like art & commissions are gonna be my only form of income because im still too physically ill to hold a job, so im gonna spend the next week or so updating all of my socials & upload the art ive made as more recent examples.

i will also be raising my commission prices again soon bc i cant afford to undersell at the moment - that being said, my super-low commission prices are still open & valid right up until i actually change them, so if anyone wants to slide innto my dms and get one while they're still cheap now would be the time :3

I DEEPLY miss the era of being an online artist and being able to have a page with detailed customization and SLATHERING it with your ocs, your art, your friends, other artists you looked up to, etc . And striving to make it really POP, but like, not as a form of… “branding” or trying to sell your aesthetic, back then it was literally just “hiii look at my ocs :3c i made this page myself with basic html and i had fun!! Look look look!!”, i miss pagedolls, i miss pixel art, i miss old school deviantart and tumblr where we actually cared about each other’s page themes , i miss artists being a more intertwined community instead of being forced to focus on what is the most “palatable” !! I wish we didn’t have to sell an easy-to-swallow “brand” to survive, i just want to create, and i miss when there were platforms FOR artists, yknow?
