When I was younger I only ever watched cycle 19 of America’s Next Top Model growing up, but recently I just started watching the entire series online. Almost everything about the treatment of these contestants by Tyra Banks, the judges, and her producers, is absolutely disgusting, especially in regards to the intelligent, eloquent, and/or well-educated young women with dark skin…How was this show ever allowed on television? At the same time, though, everything about it that’s completely awful makes it addicting to watch…It’s like a train wreck you can’t look away from.
