(This is a re-post since last time I accidentally set it for a day instead of a week…)
Peterman's slang for Opium, which I think about everytime Panda Express lures me to spending $ and an eventually sugar and fat mental crash and resulting nap.
The Midnight Mistress Meets the Jungle
You didn’t come here for comfort. No, you came for the thrill of shadows and the hum of danger.
The Elvira: Mistress of the Dark t-shirt doesn’t just whisper rebellion—it screams it, over the roar of helicopter blades slicing through a humid Southeast Asian sky. Her iconic silhouette looms large, etched against the fiery backdrop of a napalm-drenched horizon. Her piercing eyes, like the green tracers at midnight, promise mystery. Her jet-black hair cascades like jungle vines, ensnaring all who dare look too long.
In the foreground: a forgotten Huey, tilted and tired, caught in the tangle of Elvira’s domain. Beneath her feet, dog tags lie scattered in a forgotten riverbed, shimmering faintly like lost souls waiting for her command.
The fabric? Worn-in black, like a soldier’s fatigues after a week in the bush—soft, but carrying stories it won’t ever tell.
This is not just a shirt. It’s the dichotomy of seduction and survival, elegance and chaos. Wear it if you dare to merge two worlds that never met—until now.
Do you feel it? The night is calling, and you’ve already answered.

this is how it described the nightie (see link above):
“Interlude.
Tonight is personal (every spring, you book an outrageously luxurious room somewhere).
This castle (the one Frederic Adams built for Nina Palatianou, his Corfiot wife). This place (top of Analipsis hill). The cool night air (sweet scent of olive trees).
Courting is about rhythm.
You’ve spent the evening ambling the Liston Promenade, but you both know that’s really just a prologue.
Now: slow time down (you have your ways).
Your hair in a crown of elaborate braids (he unravels them, one by one).
Your blush-pink nightgown, with its bow waiting to be untied (slowly).
Saunter to the chippendale armoire and stop. Don’t turn to look at him.
The pleasure’s in the anticipation.
Corfiot Nightgown (No. 4205). 100% cotton voile. Lace at neck, cutouts, armholes, hem and belt tip. Self ties and pin tucks at the waist. Tea length. Made in India.”
HEY SO ITS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT J PETERMAN
I am here to maybe help with that J. Peterman is a very fancy clothing company, and it's been my favorite clothing company since forever. their clothes are very expensive, but damn is it worth it. most of their clothes are 100% cotton or 100% whatever material they're using, which for me as a person with a sensory disorder is a god send. all of their clothes come in many different sizes and are all very nice! they also have a catalogue that comes out once in a while (I believe monthly?) that has paintings of the clothing and little stories to go with each item so that's always fun to look at! the little stories are witty and funny and entertaining but also very inspiring and cool! and none of the paintings have models so there's no bias about any of that, it's just the clothes. idk I think they're really cool and I've loved them forever since my parents really liked them so yeah, their website is http://m.jpeterman.com
