Kara & Lois Sing About the Future
They deserved to do silly cousin shenanigans-
“You know... my brother wasn't always such a little monster.”
“Egg is no monster. He's just a boy.”
“I didn't mean Egg. But no doubt we'll make a man of him, too. Perhaps the seeds of madness are sown in the womb, as the maesters say. But Aerion was quite the glad child once.”
A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS— 1.06. The Morrow.
this is sisterhood right here… endless shenanigans with a side of pastries and emotional breakdowns
Logan Cox reviews 'Salt and Sea, Fire and Blood,' an episode of 'House of the Dragon.'
“Was this not always our purpose?”
We start things off with a bang. Yet, this still feels less like a premiere, less like a “we’re back” and more like a penultimate episode or season finale. Which is apparently what it was supposed to be before last season’s budget ran out. We were left with an ending meant to feel like a cliffhanger, but it mostly felt like a huge tease after a lot of buildup.
Well, yeah. That's what they do.
Wait, did the live action Avatar make Jet's death clear?
It can't do anything right.
"This is the coolest thing ever!"
I was not expecting that musical number.
Amazing! That's incredible! He parted the river with a sword!

Bonus:
What I think has happened with Netflix's ATLA show is that they made a three season commitment with the studio thinking the popularity of the original would make it a surefire hit. That didn't happen and now they're contractually lumbered with this dud and trying to get out as quickly and cheaply as possible with no fanfare because why spend more money marketing even this thing.
Samantha M. Quinn reviews the 2026 DC Universe movie, Supergirl.
“He sees the good in everyone, and I see the truth.”
As the next entry to this new DC Universe franchise that started with Superman (2025), this is a solid, action filled, enjoyable film that gets a lot right.
"This is the point: the complete non-sense of this woman's life, accentuated by her elegance and her footmen. What use is she? And not only her, but all the people of her kind, the whole society. It's not a life, it's an existence. Even less: an inexistence. This film must be indirectly very bitter, and a thousand times deeper than the anecdote on which it is based. And your task, dear Danielle, will be hard. You, armed with your charm, with your beauty and your intelligence that we all admire, will have to personify the emptiness, the inexistence. Not to fill the emptiness but personify it. On the screen you will become the actual symbol of a fleeting futility that is quite without interest. And you must do it in such a way that the spectators are caught up in, seduced and deeply moved by the image you will represent. Without this paradox, we will end up with a second-rate melodrama, and that is not what we do." — Max Ophüls instructing Danielle Darrieux during the filming of Madame de… (1953)
