They had to get out of Kingon war space. It was imperative that they did. They had little supply. Sulu was injured. Bones, was taken prisoner. He was about to return for his friend when he felt himself ushered back onto the shuttle and they made it back to the ship. They docked and just as they did they started to enter into a battle with the Klingons. They had a treaty with them, so why the hell were they so hostile right now .
Kirk made it to the bridge. Still sore from his personal encounter with a Klingon his side hurt like hell, and had probably broken a couple ribs as well. "Mr. Sulu...Warp now!"he said as he felt the ship shake once more from a phase hit directly to the left side. Hearing they had taken a direct hit on that last one. "Punch it."he said as they went into warp. Something felt different. He still hadn't cleaned up from the soot from the ash and other debris that was pushed around only hours before.
As they were dropping out of warp, he sighed in relief, "Well done everyone.."he said as he knew he had to get Bones back. But with the way things were...his best friend would have to endure the Klingons for a little while. But there was a gut feeling that something wasn't right. He just couldn't put his mind on it right now. He was about to slowly work his way up out of the chair as he saw another ship drop out of of warp next to them ...Hell what was it now....not knowing that their little jump...instead of warping them to a safe zone. Warped them right into the future. He hailed the other ship.
"We...we mean you no harm ....My name is James Tiberius Kirk. Captain of the U.S.S. Star Ship Enterprise. Please respond." He said as all they could do now was wait for an answer to be heard from the other ship. If they got into another battle right away. Their shields were damaged, the hull was damaged ... as well as many areas of the ship had reported damage, along with many crew members. They needed to warp to a federation safe zone...not another damn war zone.
