My view to the cosplay show and the Nordic Cosplay Championship at J-PopCon18 was rather limited, as we had been a bit slow to get reservations to any good seats.

Still saw amazing talents perform, with costumes, props and acting to show off what they got. Loki won the popular vote, although I’m pretty sure they didn’t need the online voting if they had just gone by how that cosplayer’s performance had every female, and half the males, in the audience scream like they were on fire. Was a bit unsettling actually.

Just a better look at the portraits I got from this year’s cons. I think it’s a fun way to make special souvenirs while also supporting talented artists. I’m running out of room on my appreciation wall tho, dang.

The first sketch was commission at the @papercutzzart booth at J-Pop in CPH. I asked if she could draw me more like a humanoid Eevee instead of just a lame human wearing a hoodie. I think she managed pretty well.

The other was made by a talented artist at ComicCon in CPH, who you can find on instagram as BoydComics. He painted that within two minutes by using both hands at the same time - was pretty amazing to watch while sitting still and playing model.

Just some of the best pics from my experiences at the J-Pop Con 2018 in Copenhagen.

A lot of great cosplays. I was especially positively surprised by seeing The Adventure Zone cosplays. One of the Takkos told me if I had showed up earlier on the first day, I could have caught a Merle and Magnus too!

Artist Alley had once again a long banner you could freely draw on, so I added in Puffy once again.

Also loot

Needed a poofy skirt for something in the future and found one cheap. Got a few comics and my traditional portrait.

Tried to hold back on the shopping spree, as I had to survive in CPH the whole week and plus some, so I kept mostly to my budget of what I had in cash.

Was a great trip.
