Hold On, Change is Coming | The Sounds of Blackness So I dont even know where to begin with this. All this week, Billy and his brother J.D Steele have been coming into the choir and theatre classes at my college. We're puting on a production of The Burial at Thebes, in which these two wrote the music for. Theyve been teaching us not only the music for the play, but a few of their own songs, including this one. And it has seriously been the greatest learning experience of my life. These two men have such a passion for music, its unbelievable. I mean, Im still a little star struck. These people have won Grammys. But its not even that that most awes me. They are just so PASSIONATE about music and what they do. You see it every time Billy's fingers touch the piano keys. And every time J.D teaches us a new line of the music. I am so so sad that tomorrow is going to be our last day with them, but I'm excited to no end that myself and the rest of my choir get to perform with them and share what we have learned with the community. Just omg. This has been the best week ever.
