While doodling some UT I realized I pretty much accidently drew Frisk the way I used to draw my old most fav char, Rave, so I doodled a couple Raves arround. Also as you may have guessed im quite obssesed with Splatoon so inkling nathames with shitty drawn weapons As usual, James is eyugho's and Nathan is c2ndy2c1d's
The Start of Something Beautiful- Nathames Headcanon Part 1
So guys, this was requested by my friend, @the-girl-with-stories-and-time . She requested a headcanon about the relationship of Nat and Rave. So, I bring you a headcanon of how these characters came to be together. The ask out and first date. Some of the elements that will come up in this would make more sense if their back stories (my versions of them) were known. If you would like to hear them, send me a request for them!

Nat asked and asked and asked. He asked that boy over twenty times to go on one date with him. But the new boy wanted nothing to do with him. He usually told the teal headed teen to "fuck off," even if Nat was nice as can be. They were only sophomores, but Nat knew that new boy was the one for him. He felt it within his heart.
The problem? The new boy was extremely guarded. With all his disasters he called his exes, he wanted nothing to do with another guy ever again. He didn't want to admit that he liked the annoying, flirtatious teen. He mentally noted though some of the sweet gestures his admirer performed. Love notes left in his locker, flowers, and some really overdramatic ask-outs.
Rave rejected Nat 23 times. He couldn't understand why the teen just wouldn't quit it. He made it obvious that he wasn't interested, right? He didn't like Nathan Goldberg, right?
He lied to himself for a couple weeks that this was true, that he didn't like him. For a week, Nat finally seemed to have given up, and for some reason, it upset Rave. For some stupid reason, he actually enjoyed the gestures, and the charm of it. No guy had ever put that much effort, or dealt with that much rejection, and still tried to obtain him.
Rave, feeling utterly conflicted, decided to talk to the best counselor he had, his drama teacher. He vented his frustration and explained how he hated Nat, but how he wasn't repulsed by him at the same time. His teacher, far wiser than him, simply told him: "James, you're in love with that boy."
Rave paused and let that sink in for a moment. Did he really love Nat? Something about the statement just felt right. It made his heart flutter like nothing ever had. With that realization, he left the teacher's office, and went to find the teal haired teen. It wasn't hard to find him. Nat was looking for him as well.
"Nat," Rave said, approaching him. Nat looked at the teen and approached him.
"Now," Nat began. "Before you say anything, let me just say this." Nat fell down onto his knees and looked up at the other desperately. "I know you'll probably say no, so this my last time asking you out. If you say no, I'll leave you alone for good."
"Nat," Rave said, but was quickly interrupted.
"Now, before you say no, let me bring up my proposal. If you say yes, we go on a date whenever you want, and we'll do whatever you wanna do. I'll pay for it, and it'll be no problem. Everything's up to you. All you have to do is say yes." Nat closed his eyes, just knowing that rejection was coming again.
"Yes." Nat opened his eyes, shocked.
"What?" he asked, not comprehending what was happening.
"Yes," Rave repeated. "I'll go on a date with you." Nat stood up and looked Rave in the eye.
"Really?" he asked, still in shock.
"Yeah," Rave said. A soft smile spread across his face. Nat started smiling a big, goofy grin.
"Alright," Nat responded. "So, when are you free?"
They agreed to go catch a movie Friday night, and take a walk in the park depending on when the movie ended.
Well, 24 times a charm.
