Thank you this 👆 is exactly what i was trying to describe , it was almost like a rehearsed skit , trying too hard . I know Jared is a good man and wants to see the best in everyone but it feels a little like Jensen made his bed now he has to lie in it a bit and learn some humility maybe .

👆 this is what makes me think its planned , scripted all most overdone , i think its a scrabbling movement to undo the way he acted during the boys and with the upcoming vr .

I may sound cynical but as ive gotten older ive gotten less optimistic , not seeing the good everywhere and starting to see cracks where they werent seen before and this is one of those times .

Right with you, anon. 🎯 I definitely don't have the same rose colored glasses on like I did when I first binged the show and went down the YouTube convention panel rabbit hole. I've been trying to get back on the J2 bromance train but I just can't seem to get there.

In response to the anon that talked about jensen’s texan christian culture, I would say the same thing applies to jared. He’s just better at masking it. It boils down to human nature and jensen and jared are both humans. The bottom line is that they will find people attractive. That is just life. It’s normal and okay.

I don’t think Texan Christian Culture has anything to do with attractiveness bias. We all have that bias and it has nothing to do with the area we are from or our religion. I agree on it being human though.

Hi! I’ve been learning so much about acting and stuff from your blog. Hope this isn’t too personal but where/how did you learn so much? I’ve been a big fan of spn and I thought Jensen’s acting was amazing throughout - some of the best performances of his career in my opinion. But…as the show progressed, I’ve noticed some … oddities with the characters in general. I thought it was more to do with the writers room (I’ve heard there’s often drama there and you can tell which writer writes an episode by the flow - and sometimes there’s not a lot of consistency within a season - season 13 with Michael and Jack for example - we have Michael have this speech about family but then in the very next episode, it’s practically retconned - Michael saying something about familial weakness). Anyway…I thought it was because some episodes seemed like they forgot their own lore but I do think a lot stemmed from the acting as well. Seemed like the boys were phoning it in. I’m autistic, so it’s difficult for me to read facial cues but your answers have helped me to read between the lines while rewatching and it clicks so much, I’m so happy! If you have any other tips on reading acting, it would be so helpful! Have a great day and thank you for your blog! I know you get a lot of negativity but you also spread kindness so thank you!

Thank you for the very beautiful message. I am glad what I wrote resonates with you. As for my experience, it comes from years and years of study and work within the entertainment industry. You are spot on about the boys phoning it in during later seasons. Though, I will say, I don’t blame them one bit after years of playing the same characters.In my humble opinion, it would have helped them tremendously to have a a coach on set.
