okay but imagine Jensen and Jared meeting, and Jared’s this brash, loud, exuberant puppy-man and Jensen’s just... not. He’s quiet, reserved, very much on the shy side of things. And they become friends entirely through Jared’s energy, and they become more than that at Jared’s pushing (because he just can’t get over how soft and sweet Jensen is with him, and it’s a personal victory whenever he manages to make Jensen laugh).
The first time Jensen pulls a prank and looks over at Jared for his reaction, glows at the way Jared laughs entirely free and uninhibited, that’s when Jared knows he wants this to be forever, not just flirting at work.
So imagine they get to the bedroom (finally, both of them have been dragging their feet a bit getting there) and Jared’s not entirely sure how this is gonna work because he’s been the one pursuing Jensen but he’s played around enough to know that he’s a sub and wants to explore that a bit further. So when Jensen shyly says “I want you on your knees” Jared thinks his heart might stop. But he drops down and stays there.
They don’t push any boundaries that night, mostly vanilla (except for Jensen’s quiet orders, and Jared has to strain to hear them but he wants to obey), and they have all the proper discussions about limits and safewords later, but I mean.
Imagine Jensen as a shy & sweet dom, and Jared as his perfect complement in bed and in life.
