I was re listening to hello from the hallowoods on a long car trip recently and these two have once again gotten stuck in my brain. I love the franken-they and the ghost boy.

Also under the cut are my designs of them from back in 2021 just for fun

I’ve gotten way better at character design since I drew these, i made diggory just have the body of a normal looking human man for some reason lol. I tried to make them look more monstery this time around, and hopefully a bit more androgynous although I think I could have pushed that further. My Percy design didn’t change very much honestly, but I did make his clothes a bit more loose fitting.

I want to see more characters who are genuinely kind. I want to see them have an arc that doesn’t force them to compromise that kindness. I don’t want to see them portrayed as naive. They just genuinely care about the people around and refuse to let them get hurt
