Nikki Hubbard is a trans woman who was arrested after taking action to oppose a violent “patriot march” in Pacific Beach, CA. that involved several of the January 6th insurrectionists. Police ignored violent attacks by the armed fascists that day, only arrested antifascists, and the far-right DA then went out of her way to prosecute the arrested antifascists to the fullest extent possible. As a result, Nikki has been sentenced to four years in a men’s prison – a situation that is extremely dangerous for her. More information about Nikki and her case here. You can write to Nikki here:

Denys Matsola was defending his country from invasion by Russia when on April 4, 2022, he was captured by Russian forces. Since then, Denys has been held at Russian pretrial detention center SIZO No. 2, Kineshma, Ivanovo. Reports from released prisoners confirm that Denys has been starved by his captors and kept in solitary confinement for three years and counting – possibly due to their knowledge of Denys’ extensive work with human rights organizations and trade unions before the invasion.
