Hi! I recently discovered that I identify as poly, and I'm scared to tell my parents. I don't think they'd hurt me but they might kick me out, and I'm not sure if I'm living a lie if I don't tell them. Do you have any advice?
You dont have to tell them if you dont feel safe but when you are comfortable telling them thats when you tell them. You shouldnt feel forced to tell anyone, but if you want to tell them go for it, just make sure you have somewhere to go if you think they are going to kick you out. Hopefully they dont and they. accept you, but you should wait to tell them, for your sake, tell them another time
