Look. I’ve followed you for around a month now, and my morals tell me to unfollow. I wouldn’t leave this blog without saying something first though. I learned a lot about racial discrimination and what you think about the police. I was here when you were talking about TPoH and AtLA. But this recent post. You bashed the Bible through a reblog and I can deal with everything else but that. I’m leaving. I am a conservative, but...good luck on your camper. I hope you accomplish your goal. Farewell.

Just know that I am the child of a really conservative pastor, and the things I’ve been taught in the name of Jesus have absolutely fucked me up. I have neglected myself for years and become a doormat for others beliefs because “Altruism! Forgive seventy times seven times!” I’ve hated myself for being a sinner to the point I’ve wanted to end my own life dozens of times, and even tried a few times. I still struggle with the fact I was taught that I was inherently evil and there’s nothing I can do about it. And that’s not even mentioning my struggles with gender and sexuality.
My mother told me I was infested with demons.
And I don’t really wanna hear about, “Oh but GOOD CHRISTIANS don’t do that!” Because you all think you’re good Christians. And for me and people like me? It’s safer to just be skeptical of the whole lot.
If you find faith and comfort in the bible that’s absolutely fine. But you also need to be aware of the people for whom the Bible has been used as a weapon to beat them with. Their anger is valid.

You haven’t played Mystery Room??? I highly recommend you do cus it’s like an ace attorney game kinda. Maybe mute your volume on the fifth case because THAT music scared me as a child. But just the music not the actual scenes or anything yeah I was a weird kid.
