I'm going to dissect this picture cause I'm bored.
Mud seems genuinely happy here, so I wonder if Jack wasn't originally his associate. Either that or he's a pro at faking.
Jack seems like he's forcing some joviality here. The overly wide smile makes me think that he's putting on a show for the Smiling Dead (course, that's an easy deduction to make knowing what we know). He also has his arms wrapped around the other two rather snugly which seems motivated more out of malice rather then comradery.
I love Mel's face here. She really doesn't like Jack. Her smile and the way her one eye is twitching conveys the fact that she's really uncomfortable.
Ken just flat out hates Jack. Whether he feels threatened by him or just has a genuine distaste for outsiders remains to be seen.
Got a crush on this guy already even though I just know he's going to be a complete scumbag.
