Just 29 years old, UFC veteran Jack Shore says he is retiring with “good health” and “financially stable.”
🫡 Jack Shore calls it a career at 29. Always happy to see people leave the sport with their health and under their own terms. Will miss Shore though.
Joanderson Brito cuts hole into Jack Shore's leg and gets doctor stoppage win.
Brito destroys Shore with leg kicks. Like he kicked Shore's leg so much through the first 6-7 minutes, that it swelled up. Then he kicked it again, Shore went to check and it exploded. The ref called the doctor in as Brito was punching Shore in the shin along the cage and the doctor stuck his whole ass finger into the cut. Then he stopped the fight.
I feel for Shore. Weird way to lose. But if the doc was able to feel all up on his shin bone, it was probably for the best the fight was over. Brito continues to be a physical specimen in the cage. Terrific athlete and devastating offensive power that makes it hard for guys to fight him off.
Jack Shore - The Road To Rio - UFC 301
Jack Shore (17-1) is an incredibly skilled MMA fighter. He's well rounded and always seems to have a good gameplan heading into the cage. Skill wise, I think he's a top fighter at featherweight. There are intangibles though that you need to be a real top contender and I'm not sure he has those. We'll see as he works his way thru the 145lb division.
Shore is set to head to Rio this Saturday (May 4) for UFC 301 where the Welshman will face off with Joanderson Brito (16-3-1).

He’d follow up with takedown attempts as Hernandez would try to close distance. I get why so many people are big on him. He floats between different phases of MMA really smoothly.
