So, yeah, for an Obscure Character Fanart, this creep’s called Jack Sweet, a character from the unsettling public domain short known as Munchers designed to represent tooth decay.
Whose vaguely ominous smiley mask as he gives out candy hides a hideous necrotic face that uses a disturbing device to gnaw at the anthropomorphized teeth when he’s done pacifying them with sweets! Ah, good ol’ vintage nightmare fuel!
But yeah, I like this character a lot because of how profoundly unsettling they are for their brief screentime. Because when you’re trying to be kid-friendly, you have to get creative to scare the shit out of some children! And the fact that, of course, they’re public domain sweetens the deal a bunch!
