Jack Townsend x Male Reader head Canons

Jack is probably never going to move on from Sabine, so getting into a new relationship with you felt a little risky and irritating sometimes. Especially when you're both men and work at the same shitty gas station at the edge of town. But you did got feelings for each other and somehow in someway you two began dating.
Jack feels awkward and extremely worried about dating you all the time. He feels like he messes up or doesn't do enough along with all his weird quirks that make him Jack. Don't get me wrong either he messes up too. But you're a very forgiving man and you try your best to accommodate all his needs.
You help him with pills and his prosthetic and in exchange he reminds you that your relationship with him isn't wrong in any way. Sure he wasn't the best person at comfort. But sometimes he was the voice of reason when you feel guilty about being gay or bi or pan (or any other orientation for that matter)
Jerry and Rosa ships you two HARD and tease you two about it. You have to try and ignore them sometimes. That's how bad it is, they stop though. And Rosa is somehow SWEET about it as well.
You two don't date in public. Half of the town thinks mixed race couples are morally wrong, if not almost all of them. What if they saw two men in a romantic relationship together?! And what if Spencer Middleton shows up and cuts one of your limbs off or something?! It was a complete no go all things considered.
You brush Jack's hair while he's reading sometimes. Jack doesn't mind it unless it makes him miss a page or two.
Jack's only compliment for you is handsome because he sucks ass at flirting. And somehow you find that EXTREMELY CUTE for some reason.
You and Jack don't cuddle much due to schedules and the like. But once you do you usually spoon Jack or hold him around. That's about it, he's super skinny and you don't want to break him more than he's already gone through.
He needs a lot of help with being together with a dude, or his memories. Or almost anything for that matter. He's very high maintenance.
Jack would probably try to read to you if you want to. It's very important to him because well... Books carried a lot of his life and job. And if his boyfriend likes it then Jack would be way more close to him. He reads a novel to you when you lay your head on his lap sometimes late at night, hoping it makes you sleep if anything.
