I pray that they aren’t going to turn out like another Katsushika, we have enough of those to deal with… I thought I could actually trust them, it appears I was wrong. It clearly doesn’t make sense, I drag myself all the way to give him a tiny gift, and he only huffs about not being apologized to? Let me guess, he’s not telling Mr. Kamiyama either? Then again, I possibly have hit many nerves on this team…But no matter, what’s done is now done.”

“PALADIN, waiter by day/superhero by night. 2nd member of Veiled Vanguard in Obihiro Division, status = unknown [presumed to be ‘Least Concern.’] Aside from Mai, there is limited knowledge for Kamiyama. His choice in career does not matter, though I am concerned on ‘what’ exactly he may be conducting out on those days… Personally, I pity him. Having to deal with all this nonsense his ‘leader’ and ‘saviour’ are spitting out of their foul mouths…He might not see it as a bad thing, being an adult isn’t the easiest thing to handle anyways…”

“Heed, Chuohku subject and both key informant/key assistant for Hypnosis Microphone development, presumably in ‘War’ era. 3rd member of Veiled Vanguard in Obihiro Division, status = target. So I’m not the only damned steward inside this hellhole of a tournament, though I’m easily positive he’s hiding something important. Hm, he’s probably doing a background check on my team soon enough, with all those Chuohku ties he has…What else is this guy going to unravel? He’s just waiting for the right time to pounce.”

“They can’t keep their ‘Veiled’ facade up forever, in DRB terms anyway. The one question I have is, how are they even getting by at all? Tetsumasu is walking free with evaded punishment, Kamiyama is living the dream and Verrill is keeping Kamiyama on his toes. Am I writing another criminal novel? I’ve caused enough drama for the time being. Besides, most of the criminals have already been covered anyway. Even if I would, maybe Chuohku could be its prime subject? That’s a story for another day. I just have to focus on what’s in front of me, without thinking about being hellbent on criminal conviction…”

Mai’s Thoughts On Obihiro Division

“A literal horse breeder? Everyone’s talked about Tetsumasu before, including his own 2 teammates that make up his rap team. What? He’s a fugitive who used to work for Chuohku and evaded all those allegations and stuff! I don’t know what to think on him, he’s nice I suppose. Wait, how did your little gift delivery go, Yuno-chin? Negative…? Oh, that’s too bad. He’ll be keeping a look out on us, I can tell. Hm, Yuno-chin probably is going to have a little tough go with him after all…”

Daiki Kamiyama

“Kamiyama, the ‘superhero by night.’ Correction, I think he’s actually the nice one out of the team, Tetsumasu might be a close second now~. How is he handling all this DRB drama anyway? I know, Yuno-chin practically caused it, but maybe Kamiyama is finding some sort of good? I’ll bet he downright thinks of him as a villain, sad but true… I never really thought about real life heroes, the world is just one big villain isn’t it? Justice is pretty complicated, that’ll be a definite question to ask Yuno-chin sometime~.”

“This is the other butler Yuno-chin was talking about…? He’s Verrill, isn’t he? Yeah. I’m getting bad vibes from this guy alone, so Chuohku must’ve made good use with him as some sort of informant. That’s definitely not a good sign either… Wonder what his life as a steward is like, being tasked to take care of a single person and all…? Chuohku really likes using the most unlikely targets, imagine how he must’ve felt. I don’t have enough information, though speculation isn’t the best idea. Oh well, we’ll see where Obihiro goes in terms of experience.”

“This is just a ‘smart’ version of Katsushika Division, isn’t it? We have enough criminals in this tournament, it’s quite boring actually for others to follow suit… Let’s see, a sensitive fugitive, scary. A superhero, maybe not as scary. Butler informant, scary. So it’s really Tetsumasu and Verrill we have to worry about? Kamiyama didn’t look so bad, but I guess we’ll see what happens. ‘Veiled Vanguard,’ hm? Your veiled presence won’t last forever…Well, atleast when the vermilion puppet will come and rip off your criminalistics bit by bit anyways…”

“Ooh, Yuno really pushed this guy’s buttons, didn’t he~? Pretty unexpected coming from a stoic rancher, but he’s still a criminal after all. This guy doesn’t seem all bad I guess? I mean, he’s found a better life and is just…’Sensitive’ about his past everyone knows about. I wonder what else he’s been up to lately? Maybe still recovering from Yuno’s ‘button pushing?’ This team has been quite the subject, however I have better things to worry about at the moment, they’ll get their turn soon…”

“Kamiyama? Oh, the guy Mai sent those roller skates to…He’s a superhero by night? Strange choice of occupation, though I can’t judge. Hm, if all these guys are ‘absolving their past crimes’ for their main goal as Veiled Vanguard, what did Kamiyama have to do to get himself punished anyways? Maybe assault charges or something…? Overall, he seems nice I guess, giving off peppy energy and clean vibes in my book and whatnot. He’s practically the only nice one, so I guess he’ll have some sort of microphone experience under his ‘heroic’ belt.”

“The other butler aside from Yuno, here we go. So he’s got his hands dirty with the Hypnosis Microphone back in the day? Good thing I wasn’t there to see it, it must’ve been an apocalypse kind of setting in that moment for Chuohku…He’s still fishy as is, no questions. Haah, how is he getting by now? Just nurturing Kamiyama and giving off the most ‘helicopter parent’ vibes I’ve probably seen? Maybe I should take a better look into the teams again, I’m not letting my team be crushed just because of some stupid backlash…”

“Obihiro Division, Tetsumasu Hisoka, Kamiyama Daiki, Verrill Jack. Another Katsushika, but with deceiving criminals this time. A Chuohku fugitive wanted for illegal trafficking, a ‘superhero’ whose crimes are presumed as assault and a butler wanted for informational purposes surrounding the Hypnosis Microphone and Chuohku. Personally, I don’t need my business with them, well…not yet anyway. I wonder how the other teams are going to fare against them? Will some fall easily, or can some actually bring them to justice somehow?”
