These Bacon Jalapeno Wrapped Tater Tots are a perfect combination of crispy bacon, spicy jalapenos, and golden tater tots, served with a creamy and cheesy jack cheese dipping sauce. They make for a delightful appetizer or party snack!
Ingredients: 1 pound tater tots. 8 slices of bacon. 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and sliced into strips. 1 cup shredded jack cheese. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 425F 220C. Put a piece of bacon around each tater tot and use a toothpick to hold it in place. Transfer them to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place the bacon-wrapped tater tots and the jalapeo strips on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the tater tots are cooked through and golden brown and the bacon is crisp. Make the jack cheese dipping sauce while the tater tots are baking. Shreds of Jack cheese should be melted in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring often, until smooth and creamy. After taking the cheese off the stove, thoroughly mix in the sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped cilantro, and garlic powder. To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. After the jalapeo strips and bacon-wrapped tater tots are done baking, take them out of the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Serve the Jack Cheese Dipping Sauce alongside the Bacon Jalapeo Wrapped Tater Tots for dipping. Savor your appetiser, it's savory and spicy!
