A quick and easy one-pan taco casserole that combines the flavors of tacos with the convenience of a casserole. Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 cup pasta your choice. 1 can diced tomatoes. 2 cups shredded melty cheese. 1 packet taco seasoning. 1 cup water.
Instructions: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Add the pasta, diced tomatoes with their juices, taco seasoning, and water to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir everything together and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally. Preheat your oven's broiler. Sprinkle the shredded melty cheese evenly over the top of the casserole. Place the skillet under the broiler and broil until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the oven careful, it'll be hot! and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve your delicious One-Pan Taco Casserole hot, garnished with your favorite taco toppings!
