Summary:
Elsa befriends a peasant boy named Jack, who tries to help her live with her powers. Their friendship and love grows, but their destinies were always meant to keep them apart.
(A/N) This was a response to a lyrics/quote drabble request on Tumblr. Song 'You'll be in my heart' by Philp Collins. Lines "When destiny calls you, you must be strong. I may not be with you, but you got to hold on. They'll see in time, I know. We'll show them together."
Prompt Giver: @ace-the-hunter on Tumblr. Hope you like this! Coincidentally, I had just been listening to that song. Sorry it’s a bit longer than a drabble but I got carried away.
When The Companies are Oblivious
Dreamworks: Let’s make a fun, kid-centered movie with a light haired main character who has ice powers!
Disney: Let’s make a new Disney princess movie where one of our protagonists has light hair and controls ice and snow!
The fandom:
Round 2! Why I personally love Jelsa
1) To be honest, I didn’t like Frozen as much when I first saw it, what I loved about it was the love triangle, Elsa’s character development and, well… JELSA. It was the first time I ever shipped a non-canon couple, and man, does it hurt! (But it’s so worthy 3,=)
2) Jelsa got me writing again after years of hiatus. I wrote and drew so much fanart, and don’t regret a piece of it =)
3) It got me to know beautiful people with whom I made collabs, and it was the first fandom I ever got into, enjoying what it is to share your “healthy” obsession about ST haha
4) I got to cosplay as a Disney princess in the first time since forever because of Jelsa! -seriously, FOREVER, I had never dressed up as anything as a kid =,,(
5) Till today, even if the fandom has quietened down, I still adore that this ship can be seen as angsty, fluffy, or any kind of mood or outcome (I like dramatic stuff, so that side of them actually plays very well for me).
What are yours, @royalefrost? =)
NB: I tried commenting, askbox, and all, but the wordcount chopped half of it off, so here it is haha. Love you too! ^.^
