1 - Roasted, shell on. 2 - Those ^ peeled. 3 - Roasted with agave & cinnamon. 4 - Boiled in salty water. These are ways I have prepared Jackfruit seed, and the boiled ones I grab as snacks out of the fridge, or use in stir fry, skillet meals, and like in this recipe, soup! I used left over boiled seeds from a previous jackfruit, and the roasted (unflavored) seeds from that same day. Peeled them. Sautéed chopped: Carrot, shallots, celery, green onion, garlic, crushed red pepper, and capers, salt, pepper, in avocado oil. Added the seeds, covered and waited 3 or 4 min, added 2 quarts veggie broth, brought to a boil, simmered about 10 minutes, added sweet basil.
