Jackie Gourdon's body is really just a super complex mass of roots and vines that form into a very convincing bipedal shape, and there's also foliage growing from their body like fur or feathers.

Their body is very limber and flexible for this reason, and they don't seem to have well-defined joints, giving them a somewhat odd posture that is usually hidden by the bulky hoodies they like to wear.

Also their fingers and toes kind of look like hooves fused with paws

Jackie will sometimes remove their head and place it somewhere to fool people into thinking it’s just a jack-o-lantern (albeit a weirdly leafy one). Then they’ll scare people by making noises.

Fire does come out of Jackie’s nose hole when they sneeze

Jackie doesn’t bring Rosie out around anyone unless they really, really trust the other person; they’re paranoid of the thought that the other person might just slap Rosie out of their hands and kill her.

Jackie can actually take advantage of photosynthesis, since they’re technically part plant, but it doesn’t really give them as much energy as simply eating something; they’d have to photosynthesize for about two hours to get the same amount of energy as eating a burger would give them.
