Dipper was shivering when he woke up that morning, but when he looked out the window, he was not expecting it to be snowing. Okay, he knew Gravity Falls was weird, but snow? In the summer? It couldn’t be. What was worse was he saw his twin sister outside already, eating the substance that was falling out of the sky.
“Mabel!” Dipper exclaimed as he ran out of the house, still pulling his vest on. “What are you doing?! What if that’s, like, ash from an erupting volcano! Or magical powder that’ll poison you or turn you into a frog!”
“Relax, dum dum, it’s just snow,” Mabel laughed, cuffing her twin on the shoulder. As if to prove it, she showed him a snowflake that had fallen on her sweater. It did indeed have six spines and look as normal as any other snowflake.
“But, but how can it be snowing? It’s the middle of summer, Mabel! This isn’t possible.”
“Well maybe it was some freak cold blast or something,” she suggested.
“Relax, Dipping Sauce. I’m sure there’s some explanation, right? Ooh, maybe it says something about it in that journal of yours!”
Well, that was exactly where Dipper was planning on going next. Ford was in the basement again and likely wouldn’t want to be disturbed, so the journals were his best bet. Shivering from the cold, he ran inside and opened up journal number three.
