Ema with Team USA’s coach Jack Kocur and the head coach of @pridewaterpolo (one of the best waterpolo clubs in US). I took a quick pic of them after the @occollegiateshowcase that his highschool hosted (he also is the head of Aquatics) at @oakschristianschool where Pride Waterpolo Academy trains. Ema is was one of the original girls on the first Pride Girls Waterpolo team that was formed four years ago. Back then I didn’t know anything about waterpolo ( I am still not great but I do listen and I do ask a lot of questions). I was told by a waterpolo dad at @vnso.pool my girl could be a great goalie and she should really be doing club if she wanted to do something with it. He was the one that said he would help me find a great waterpolo club for her. Back then there were not many clubs close by but he made a few calls and voila we found Jack Kocur and the timing was perfect as he happened to be looking for girls to create a girls team for Pride. This year will be their fourth Junior Olympics and the girls team has gone from scrambling for girls to having so many girls wanting to play for this great team. I am so grateful to Pride Waterpolo and it’s coaches for helping me help my girl but most of all for believing in her because this made it easier for her to believe in herself❤️#thejoyhouse #pridewaterpolo #jackkocur #waterpolo #girlswaterpolo #goalie #girlsgoalie #usawaterpolo #juniorolympics #sportsforkids #elitesports #givejoygetjoy https://www.instagram.com/p/BzhGRdxDXfg/?igshid=90az6dti7o4
