Due to my anxiety I almost skipped doing #JACKPACKS this year. Thanks to some amazing friends, I felt encouraged to push through! And boy am I glad I did! For the 9th year in a row, THANKS to our AMAZINGLY AWESOME Friends, Family and even stranger's donations, we were able to help kids in need by donating 52 #JACKPACKS =Backpacks filled with school supplies in memory of our first born Jack for his 14th Birthday! For the last 4 years we've been donating our Jackpacks to The Family Place @familyplaceut in Logan, Utah. They are able to give them out as needed throughout the year to children who desperately need them. I've had the $4.99 ones from Walmart fall apart while I was adding the supplies, so Pretty Please, as much as I appreciate the donation, I really want to provide these kids with a backpack that will last at least one year. Thank you So Much to our friends and our parents for making this happen each and every year! We were able to donate 20 Jackpacks(backpacks filled with school supplies) to @familyplaceut The Family Place in Logan, Utah in honor of our son Jack's 13th Birthday! We've been able to do this every year since Jack would've started Kindergarten. I was really struggling with the fact that I wouldn't be able to take him shopping for his first backpack and school supplies. When I learned about International Kindness Project Day(July 27) I immediately decided I wanted to go buy backpacks and school supplies and I would donate them to kids in need in Jack's memory. Thank you to all our friends and family who helped us donate 37 Jackpacks to The Family Place in Logan, Utah. This is our 7th yr we've donated backpacks filled with school supplies in honor of our son Jack who died 4 hrs after birth.
