The pup is raised by both Jack and epel’s family’s and is allowed permission to be allowed on campus so they can still bond with their parents. In order to not feel too lonely, the pup has a quilt and fuzzy wolf plushie that have epel and Jack’s scents respectively, that way they will still recognize each of their parents scents.
Once the pup starts crawling on all fours, they will be all over the place. Even as a little baby, they will definitely show their mama’s feistiness and get into everything that they can reach. And once they have begun teething, they’ll start biting and chewing on everything they can get their hands on, such as the sofa cushions in Pomefiore’s lounge room, Ruggie’s wallet, Ace’s hand, sleeping Leona’s tail, literally everything. Not even the dozens of stuffed animals the people in Harveston made just for them will be spared.
Rook will lovingly dote on the pup, praising them for their “innate hunting instincts”.

wanted to share more of my hcs on tumblr, so here’s some of 🐺🍎 expecting while still attending NRC
❀ jack and epel weren’t exactly in a relationship…they were horny teens messing around whenever they could, particularly when they should have been studying. it was kind of an open secret they were hooking up, but jack and epel would always get flustered and deny it when it’s brought up
❀ they find out they’re expecting through rook lol, he’s the first to notice epel’s scent/weight changing (which creeps everyone out because epel isn’t even a month along. dude stop sniffing everyone). rook mentions it nonchalantly when he fetches epel from the savanaclaw dorm after his “study” session with jack…it causes quite the scene
❀ there’s quite a bit of drama. their house wardens get involved and meetings with the faculty and their families have to be arranged. everyone is supportive, but epel requests some distance from jack bc he’s unsure what he wants, which jack begrudgingly accepts, but not before assuring epel he will respect whatever decision epel makes. (epel will decide to keep it).
❀ eventually gossip starts to spread through pomefiore due to epel’s roommate noticing his belly growing and the rest of the dorm noticing vil and rook’s increased protectiveness. vil and rook tries to snuff out the gossip for epel’s sake, but it eventually spills out to the entire campus
❀ epel gets bullied. a lot. especially by his dorm mates. when epel’s hormones become at an all time high the bullying starts to affect him more than he’d like to admit. vil and rook try to deal with it, but most of pomefiore thinks epel is ruining the dorms image and wants him gone. epel tries to hide it from jack, but eventually jack catches him crying alone in the bathroom during lunch
❀ jack gets in a fight with someone bad mouthing epel, leading to leona finding out what’s been going on. the bullying seemingly stops overnight, and the bullies won’t even look at epel anymore. but now if jack isn’t around epel, a savanaclaw student is always keeping an eye on him (and helping him carry stuff later on in the pregnancy)
❀ later on, when epel has trouble sleeping in his dorm, yu offers a room at ramshackle so he can properly nest. jack can also spend the night to snuggle/scent epel and also get frisky bc jack’s instincts are going haywire seeing epel pregnant with his pup(s). it doesn’t help epel’s chest is growing too
❀ both of them become somehow hornier. it becomes an issue when they sneak in between classes to “hang out”
❀ eventually when a longer break rolls around, jack and his family visit epel’s village to officially meet him…where they find epel, very pregnant and operating a tractor
❀ their families get along, but jack’s siblings and epel’s cousin become friends pretty quick. they keep asking about a wedding, which always make the adults laugh and jack and epel flustered
❀ epel’s village is already preparing for the baby. they already refurnished a little house for the epel (since his family home is already croweded), complete with all the necessities for a baby, made right in the village. jack’s family is in shock at how many stuffed animals have been made for one baby
❀ i was thinking they’d have triplets, but poor epel..maybe their first is just one, and when they’re older they’ll have triplets. i’m still. it sure yet
❀ rook is probably epel’s strongest support at NRC. he massages every ache and indulges any food craving epel has. it makes jack a bit jealous epel is more than happy to assure him through sex
❀ vil makes sure epel is active and does yoga with him (epel isn’t a fan, but he silently thanks vil when his labor is only a few hours)
❀ the pup is born a bit early near the end of the school year in the infirmary. the louder epel’s cursing and screaming becomes, the more guilty jack feels for knocking him up
❀ jack leaves briefly, asking ruggie to hold epel’s hand…which epel nearly breaks by the time jack come back two minutes later
❀ the pup(s?) comes out with little issue, and when jack sees their pup in epel’s arms for the first time he bursts into tears. and when he gets to hold the pup(s) he’s astonished how tiny they are..they looked bigger when epel held them, but jack could almost hold them with one hand

I’m really sorry to hear that your grandma is in the hospital. I hope both you, your grandma and her cats are doing okay. Hopefully this Jackpel omegaverse mpreg au (I really need to come up with a proper name for this) idea will cheer you up a bit.
On the night after Epel had given birth, Jack was staying the night in Epel’s furnished room in the Ramshackle dorm (I really liked that suggestion you mentioned because it’s very cute) and woke up in the middle of the night around two or three am. Immediately Jack notices that Epel is not in bed next to him, but before he starts to freak out in worry, Jack hears soft humming and looks over to see Epel standing in front of their pup’s crib (they both decided to have the pup stay in the same room as them so Yuu and Grim wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of refurbishing another room), illuminated by the soft light of the full moon pouring through the window.
In his arms, Epel gently cradles the pup while humming softly and rocking them. Jack slowly gets up from the bed and quietly walks over to Epel, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind. Epel asks if he had woken up Jack by accident, but he reassures him that he didn’t before asking why Epel was up so late. With a sleepy smile, Epel explains that he heard the pup wake up a few minutes earlier and he went to check on them. Jack nods in understanding as the two gazed upon their little pup, who soon dozed back to sleep.
After tucking the pup into the crib, Epel and Jack settle back into bed, but Jack notices the faint smell of worry in Epel’s pheromones and asks what’s wrong. Sighing, Epel explains that he was still very unsure about being a teen mother. He was still so very young and the bullying that he had received during his pregnancy made him incredibly doubtful of himself. In response, Jack gently embraces his mate and reassures him that they can get through this together, no matter what. Plus, they have plenty of support from their classmates, friends, and families, who are willing to help the two at every step of the way.
Feeling his mate’s warm embrace and hearing his reassuring words, Epel feels a little more hopeful about the future, as he knew in his heart that Jack was right. With a sense of security, Epel snuggles up closer to Jack and the two young unexpected parents fall back asleep, nervous but still optimistic about their newly changed lives and the future ahead of them and their precious little pup.

The biggest thing that upset Epel the most during his entire pregnancy wasn’t the morning sickness, the cramps, or even the trouble of falling asleep by himself, but the fact that he wasn’t allowed to participate in maglift club activities since Leona and Ruggie forbid him from participating due to the potential of him getting hurt and losing the pup. Poor Epel would sulk about it in his room for several hours.
While Epel was going into labor and giving birth, he was cursing more than an angry drunk sailor because good lord he was in so much pain. And when Vil tries to call him out on his vulgar speech, Epel would snap at him.
Epel: “F**K YOU VIL! I’M PUSHING A GOD D**M BABY OUT OF MY F**KING C**T AND YOUR TELLING ME TO WATCH MY MOUTH!?!? F**K YOU!”
Rook: “I would gladly…”
Vil: “NOT NOW, ROOK!”
Meanwhile in the sitting room, the other first years are hearing all of this and are just sitting there thinking, “What the f**k are they doing to him?”
Speaking of Vil (who is also an omega) would pretty much become Epel and Jack’s personal midwife. Providing Epel with carefully crafted potions to help ease his aches and vomiting, giving Jack lectures on omega pregnancy, giving Epel a special perfume to help mask his pregnancy pheromones, skin lotions and creams for his stretch marks, and generally just providing physical and emotional support for the young parents (Vil was probably the one who helped Jack and Epel get together in the first place before the pregnancy). To the point where two weeks before Epel goes into labor, Jack and Epel would ask Vil if he would like to be the godfather of their pup, which he happily accepts.
While Leona (who would be an alpha) doesn’t openly show it, he is as much of a protective mama bear as Vil, especially when it comes down to protecting Epel from the students who ridicule and call him a wh@re. As soon as Jack, Leona, and Rook confronted the bullies, they would instantly run away with their tails between their legs. And they would be too afraid to bully Epel again after that (Hopefully Rook doesn’t sneak into their rooms at night and smother them with a pillow in their sleep).
Lilia, of course, would happily jump at the chance to volunteer to babysit Epel and Jack’s cute little pup, cause you know he would want to take care of another precious little baby, plus he hasn’t had the chance to look after a wolf beastmen pup. Don’t worry, Lilia will get some help from Silver, so no need to worry about Lilia feeding the pup his homemade applesauce with vinegar, dead rats, hot sauce, pepper, salt, and garlic.

i love it when everyone comes together to form a makeshift pack to help jack and epel when they’re expecting, especially poor epel who’s especially vulnerable to bullying. he’s lucky he has such protective alphas looking after him <3
and omegas too! i’m sure vil has put other students in their place for bath mouthing epel and/or jack, and he’s arguably just as scary as leona. i’d imagine some students getting jealous of epel for stealing vil’s attention

Your mpreg jackpel art really got my gears turning! I’m picturing this as an omegaverse au (with Epel being an omega and Jack being an alpha) where Jack goes into a sudden rut and locks himself up in his dorm room, not letting anyone enter as he’s afraid of accidentally hurting someone (I imagine that alpha beastmen become much more aggressive/impulsive when in rut than alpha humans, but thankfully Jack manages to retain a semblance of control over holding himself back from jumping at the closest person). However, Epel ends up managing to get into Jack’s room, to which they both become overwhelmed by the pheromones filling the room, which makes the situation more heated and tense. In the end, both Epel and Jack are unable to hold themselves back, and you can guess what that led to.
Two weeks later, Epel begins to feel severe stomach aches, vomits almost every morning, and suffers terrible headaches. Epel’s friends, Vil, Rook, and Jack grow concerned over his health, and so after Epel vomits during dinner, Vil takes Epel to the school infirmary where it is discovered that Epel is two weeks pregnant with Jack’s pup. Everyone is absolutely shocked, but Epel and Jack are by far the most shocked (Epel most likely felt lightheaded and passed out when the doctor told him the news). At first, they are both incredibly nervous. They were still very young to have a pup and also very unprepared for something like this. Neither of them had thought about the possibility of Epel getting pregnant when they… you know… they were both so caught up in the moment at the time that they didn’t think of it. Luckily, their friends, dorm leaders, teachers, families, and the rest of the twst cast would be supportive of Jack and Epel, with Vil (being the team mom he is) reassuring them that they are more than capable of handling this and that they have everyone to rely on for support. After much advice from their friends and teachers, Epel and Jack agree to keep the pup together while remaining as students in nrc, with their families being more than happy to help look after the pup.
As the months pass and Epel advances in his pregnancy, he begins to feel a strong attachment to his growing pup. When he was alone or with Jack, Epel would quietly hum lullaby’s he heard his aunt sing to his little cousin and gently rub his round abdomen with Jack cuddled up next to him and pressing his ears against Epel’s abdomen, hearing the pup’s soft heartbeat and feeling their gentle kicks. Jack also grows strongly attached to his pup and thus, becomes a little worrisome and protective over Epel (which everyone found a little amusing). While many of their classmates were supportive of Epel’s pregnancy, their were still many students who would bully and pick on Epel, calling him a *dolphin sound*. Thankfully, Vil, Rook, his friends, and surprisingly even Leona had Epel’s back alongside the teachers. When he reaches his third trimester, Epel is given a comfortably sized room all to himself in pomefiore (as some of his roommates were among those who picked on him) from Vil and Rook after they manage to persuade Crowley into allowing him to have his own room to deliver his pup in, since it was common for omegas. Epel’s mee-maw would lovingly knit and sew cute little quilted blankets and plushies to send over to Epel for him and Jack to decorate the pup’s crib with, which was gifted to them by Jack’s parents during a small baby shower that Rook hosted.
Soon the big day finally arrived, on a calm snowy afternoon, Epel and Jack were sitting on a bench outside of the pomefiore dorm when Epel suddenly felt a sharp cramp in his abdomen. At first, he thought that maybe his pup, who had become much more active during the past week, was just being their usual rambunctious self, but then he felt something go pop and his pants became completely soaked. Having read a guide on omega pregnancy, Jack immediately knew what was happening and picked up Epel bridal style and rushed back into the dorm, yelling out for Vil and Rook to call the school’s doctor and any faculty staff available to help. Epel is taken to his room where Vil and Rook are helping to lay the towels over the bed and pain relief potions, with Ruggie and Leona helping to bring tubs of warm water. The whole time, Jack refuses to let go of Epel’s hand (which he couldn’t really do anyway with Epel keeping it in a vice grip) as Epel tries to hold in his cries of pain, but lets out a few small whimpers until he can’t take it anymore and just starts cussing so loudly that the whole entire dorm hears him. After many tense, grueling hours full of screaming and pushing, Epel finally manages to give birth to a healthy little pup. Despite the pain in his muscles, Epel holds his arms straight out in front of him, pleading to hold his pup and doesn’t take his eyes off of it as one of the nurses wraps the pup up in one of the quilted blankets before handing it over to Epel. Jack sits close to Epel, looking at their little one with wonder, mesmerization, and excitement. Everyone in the room congratulates Jack and Epel, happy for the successful birth of their little one.
woah anon you should write a fic!!! i’d read it, i love fics like this sm, it’s like slice of life with a bit of spice. teen mom and dad jackpel would be so cute too sobs..but poor eppy being bullied even when he’s preg, and those nasty rumors might get to him when his hormones skyrocket sobs. i can see him keeping the identity of the dad a secret until jack found out he was being bullied and made it Very Clear to not fuck w his mate. oh maybe they could fix up a room at ramshackle so jack could sleep with epel. and protective upperclassmen are so cute, especially leona. it’d be so unexpected.
also important note all jackpel pups are puppies idc. epel’s family would think their little ears and tail are the cutest thing, while jack’s family is amazed at their pretty blue eyes they got from mama. oh jacks family would also probably fuss over epel, he’s too tiny. but epel’s family is like nah he’s a spitfire he can handle it (which he does)
