dungeons and dragons is a game that models violence and killing for the purposes of material enrichment. That might not be what happens when you play it, that might not be what Wizards wants you to believe it models, but that is what the rules support. All of the rules support violence and killing for the purposes of material enrichment, to the detriment of all else. This is not a moral judgement of those who play dungeons and dragons, or a moral judgement of stories about violence and killing for the purposes of material enrichment, but it is a simple explanation that outside of violence and killing for the purposes of material enrichment, dungeons and dragons is not very good at anything else.
