Space Engineers 2 is now out in Alpha!
I built the board game “Battleship” in Space Engineers. Check it out!
Many of you probably don't know what this is, but this is from a game called Space Engineers really fun and they recently got a new DLC, fair warning the full pack is $30 though it might have changed price but still
(And let me know what you think of the "Zeus bolt Mark 6")
These are part of what I call "The Ant" series, the top one is called the mother ant, and the bottom one is called, well, ant mainly because it's able to hold a very heavy load all at once.
And is this isn't going to be the end of the ant series
JackRPG made a showcase video of a ship of mine; check it out!
I created a new Ship AI, known as the Neptine Ship AI! I created a world here that has my “Enthusiasm” Ship that uses the AI for people to use.
Constitution Survivor’s Log: We’re back in hardware mode - Landing was preformed safely. Parachutes weren’t necessary due to a glide in landing the additional aft atmospheric thrusters has left some, necessity for additional breaking power in atmosphere but that will be addressed later since a simple tilt back and a thruster burst can compensate. So for now the design is sound, and modifications will come later. Next task is up. Fortifying my position.
First thing I did, was remove the large rotating tower, solar panels were no longer necessary thanks to my more active charging array. Then I set out fabricating the Shield Generators. I have currently fabricated two small generators and will be slowly fabricating a large one. Due to the lack of platinum I’m building power efficiency modules. This with a few capacitor and flux modules will let me defend the base against some attack, but without draining the power.
Then i decided to beef up the southern perimeter wall with a pillbox. Three 5.56 interior turrets and one bog-standard Gatling turret should more than dissuade any terrestrial attacks. Then with the shield generator up I realized I needed to add a floor to the base’s upper section. Even with the shield generator active it will only protect ‘the grid’ it is connected to, not any surfaces. So in theory an attack could eat away at the ground supporting the inside of my base. I can’t have that.
So we’re back in hardware mode. By the time I’m done the western section of the base will be expanded out to include a foundry. If and when I am able to meet up with another group of allies I’ll need to be able to move resources, and for that, I’m going to need a hauler.
i love my tiny death star

I spent an entire day building this 250m long, 7.5 million kilograms dry weight spaceship, The Mercury It’s my model of the ship or pilot described having for our game of Diaspora, a huge cargo hauler with cramped quarters for up to 16 people.
All of it’s important systems - power, life support, reaction control, etc - are housed in a nightmarish ball of metal shot through wiyth maintenance tunnels called the engineering core. It’s claustrophobic and hard to move and only the paint colors can give you any idea where you are and where your going, assuming you know the rules to them. On the plus side, that also means no one has to so much as look at any engineering equipment unless something goes wrong, the rest of the ship is tremendously orderly.
Space engineers Assault Frigate I’m working on!
Haven’t posted here in a long time, so here’s a better edited and higher quality video compared to what I use to post!
Cockpit at 1:50 :-) Nice.
Space Engineers - Update 1.186: Major Overhaul of Visuals, Audio and Wheels
space engineers
I bought space engineers like 6 years ago and for the entire time I’ve owned it I haven’t been able to run it on any computer so I’ve never played it but apparently they boosted the optimization so now I can play it and I’m super excited but I don’t have time to play yet cuz I have to go to work so I’ll update everyone when I’m actually able to do it yay!
Space is pretty.
Space Engineers, 7/28/18
I got Space Engineers today and spent 8 hours flying to asteroids with my jetpack trying to get enough stuff to build my ship before I realized that you can build smaller ships that cost WAY less resources. I dismantled what I had already built and it’s enough to built three or four smaller ships.
